I was thinking this the whole time lol.
i genuinely believe that rhett and link music videos are some of the most convincing products to reflect the zeitgeist of the time they were released. like the style of video production just fits the 2012-2014 era of youtube so perfectly. and then ijustine, olgakay and funforlouis in the video too... even more evidence of the zeitgeist of the internet a decade ago. you just could not replicate this kind of thing today and have it work in the same way
