- サトシとピカチュウの物語の最終章を描いたアニメ『ポケットモンスターめざせポケモンマスター』（テレビ東京系 毎週金曜 後6：55～）のプロモーション映像が、13日よりJR新宿駅改札口外にある「新宿ウォール456」にて放映された。サトシとピカチュウの26年間の冒険を振り返ることができる。

これは、24日放送の最終話（第11話）に向けて盛り上げるべく企画されたもので、動画は約1分半で、サトシとピカチュウの冒険を振り返る内容に。シゲル、シンジ、カスミ、タケシ、オーキド博士、サトシのママなどライバル＆仲間たちが登場しているほか、リザードンやゲッコウガ、カイリューなどサトシがゲットしたポケモンたちも集結し、冒険の様子やバトルする姿を見ることができる。
新宿駅には大勢のファンが集結し、サトシとピカチュウの冒険を真剣に見ながら記念撮影している人や感動して涙を流す人、サラリーマンやOLなど通行人も「懐かしい」「ポケモン最終回なの？」「サトシの冒険終わるのか」という声があがっていた。
なお、アニメ『ポケットモンスター』は、4月14日より新シリーズの放送がスタートし、主人公はサトシ＆ピカチュウから交代となり、ポケモン世界全体を舞台にしたW主人公のリコとロイの新たな夢と冒険の物語が展開。リコとロイがニャオハ、ホゲータ、クワッスの3匹をはじめとする、たくさんのポケモン達と共に冒険を繰り広げていく。
『ポケットモンスターめざせポケモンマスター』は17日放送の第10話、24日放送の最終話と残り2話となっており、1997年より放送がスタートしたサトシとピカチュウの物語が26年の歴史に幕を下ろす。

It's an end of an era of Pokémon. Hard to believe Ash won't be the main protagonist anymore after so long. I was there at the beginning of the Pokémon series. Seeing Ash starting his journey from Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, to Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar and now after 25 years his journey is over. Well, I hope Ash and all of his companions will still show up in the new series from time to time.

He'll be gone in less than a week and writers will prioritize the new characters. Besides, TPC has proved time and time again that they're not interested in making Ash grow up.

I remember when i randomly decided one day to watch pokemon and was lucky enough so that the day I decided this was also the day pokemon restarted on the TV from episode 1. Then, after 1-3 years of watching pokemon, I left it. Then, 7 years later I rewatched it FROM THE BEGINNING and it was amazing. Goodbye Ash

Seriously, though. This is my all time favorite franchise. Pokémon has been such a huge part of my life ever since my mom got a deal on Red Version back in '99. Ash and his friends got me through the trials of puberty, the horrors of high school, and remained steadfastly loyal through college, bringing me my own lifelong friends. I remember the night Pokémon: The First Movie debuted and yes, I was one of the kids crying when everyone thought Ash was dead (that boy is immortal, he's died like 4 times!). I love remixes of the music, I just decided to try a Nuzlocke and my husband (also Pokémon nerd) and I can't wait to share the new adventures with our son when he grows up!
TL:DR? Godspeed, Ash Ketchum; you never grew up, but you were there for me when I had to. ❤

Fue un weedle,en kalos con esa nueva dinámica... Hasta mi novia jugaba conmigo Pokémon x ,hasta consiguió un charmeleon shiny.... I still can't believe ash's journey has ended. It hits hard. I remember watching XY during a sleep over, it was episode 865 "confronting the darkness" which aired on TV. Beforehand i couldn't sleep at all and my sleepover friends were jerks at the time so mom let me be in the living room where she and the other adults were hanging. I messed around with thw tv and found the channel the episode was airing on and i played 2 pokemon games before so i was glued to the series ever since and grew attached to ash as a character. Man it feels like yesterday so it is kinda unreal for now to me.
