to be honest with you as a Ghanaian living abroad I should say things are very very very cheap in Nigeria as compared to Ghana. I say this because I follow this Nigerian CZcamsr (EDO TALK SHOW) on youtube. they interview those people that sell building materials from A to Z and trust me I always laugh out loud when people mention the prices of goods in their shops. am even thinking of buying lands in Nigeria in the near future
People can ran away from their country if things are cheaper and insecurity at higher level, it does not make sense if my life is at risk at my country l have no problem with other African countries coming to Ghana but they should go with the law of a country where they lay their head

It’s totally okay. We should understand that becoming citizens of a different country has many reasons, mostly for the benefits the person derives from the country or the comfort of living in that country. A lot of Africans are citizens of the U.S., U.K., Germany, etc. I believe the reason for this is not because they love those countries more than their native ones, but rather because of the benefits and easy access to resources that come with citizenship. We can all become citizens of any country we want if we qualify, and it doesn't have to be Europe, America, Asia, or the rest. Respect this person’s decision to become a Ghanaian citizen and keep your Nigerian citizenship.
