@@vikinghammer87 thank God someone else knows. Affleck was flabby and out of shape, my uncle worked in the SFX production for it. They even CGI'd his arms and chest and the weights he was lifting was made of this foam material

Magnus trained Ben Affleck for Justice League not for BvS. Walter Norton trained Ben for BvS. They didn't disclose that info to us. Norton transformed him. Not Magnus
He was bigger on BvS and the video that shows batman working out is from BvS
He was already full of jungle juice and just needed to get athletic.

It's just a workout for one day, I've looked at his workout for McAvoy and it varies quite a bit, basically each day has a focus
I think they just demonstrated the movements in the video. Deadlift with +200kg is no joke and works almost the entire body. Combine that with some specific exercises you got a really god workout session.

That was in the movie Blinkin Heck plus they probably switched up the training throughout but he wouldn’t need to do all that heavy shit when training yes it helps to lift heavy but high reps high intensity is also just as good especially the older we get he is 47 after all but it is possible to get strong cut & toned but harder to bulk up so gotta balance it plus training in the Gym isn’t his forte he hates but he understands the necessity of doing so for the role of Batman who is after all at Peak Human Condition.
Its a pity we cant find an exact full version of the Batfleck workout, diet and stats.
I had a copy of the "Batman V Superman" workout in 'Mens Health' for both Affleck and Cavill back in 2015 that was much lengthier and impactive. Both workouts were different in nature pertaining to not just the roles, but also for the actors. I lost it somewhere along the line ( the routines that is) and haven't been able to locate a copy since.
Always thought his training was that specific scene in BvS.

I just find it unlikely that this personal trainer, (who is a quite known trainer) would put his reputation on the line saying he trained Ben Affleck if he actually didn't. This would quickly be picked up by someone who could deny this being true. Thus risking further work for being a fraud. I don't know, I just think it's more likely that his contract on that specific production was strict and didn't allow him to post photos or videos of Ben Affleck training as to not injure the production of the movie.

When they had the squat and kick the trainer referred to the kick as a side kick actually that was a roundhouse kick. A sidekick you chamber your leg inwards towards your stomach and kick off to the side.

@@NightwingGFX it's possible, a study showed that a group on steroids that wasn't working out at all grew more muscle than a group dedicated to working out without steroids, and of course a group working out with steroids outperformed them both.

If you want to look like batman, you have to train like batman. Do heavy lifts like squats and deadlifts for power, calasthenics and agility drills to master your body weight as batman does a lot of climbing and stealthy movements, and of course boxing for cardio as batman is a fighter. That's my guess.

@@mojok7070 Also not even possible without equipment. Kirill Sarychev currently holds the record for the heaviest raw bench at 738lbs, he was also near 400lbs. Only 4 people on earth have benched over 700 raw and 4 have bench over 1000lbs in equipment. Batman did a 1000lb bench at 210, which all the steroids in the world couldn't make you do that.

Yes he is. Magnus has trained Alexander Skarsgård for Tarzan, Gal Gadot for Wonder Woman, James McAvoy for Glass etc. Magnus is awesome

With no squat shoes squat to kick? All these workouts are bogus besides the deadlift definitely for a novice beginners. Definitely wont put on no size or just great for staying in shape.

He had to have done more to get those biceps and that chest. This is more like a routine for runners since the main muscle that’s being worked in this workout is the legs and core.

Everyone in the comments are complaining about how these workouts won't help to bulk up that much. The guy in video didn't clarify good enough but this the lower body workout. Idk why they chose to show this instead of upper body workout since Ben's batman's upper body was the best thing about whole character that has inconsistent personality.

Squat and deadlift for strength, then a flexibility exercise, then an explosiveness exercise, people are hating, but there's nothing wrong with doing that for a workout; lots of programs use bodyweight exercises as a finisher after the heavier exercises

knees past toes is a myth, if u cant get ur knees past the toes then u just have bad ankle mobility, which most ppl do. get those knees as far as u can, as long as ur feet r flat on the floor
