Wow! After all of these years... I have NEVER heard this version of Fei's classic theme. The composer NAILED it! It stayed true to the melody and cadence of the original but added so much more with instrumental arrangement. This was beautiful. It seems whenever the composer sticks to the script (Zangief's theme the exception, of course LOL), the results are amazing! This is why I love THIS version of the soundtrack the best!
@SuperKokuJin916: In my humble opinion, the PC version of the soundtrack to Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo is one of the best versions of the Super SF2 soundtrack, if not THE best, I've ever heard. How ironic that Capcom had nothing to do with the game, as the PC port was developed by Eurocom and published by Gametek, and the composers were Neil Baldwin and Steve Duckworth in contrast to the members of Alph Lyra.
I wished they released the full, non-dramatic (ie. near-death/near-K.O.) versions of the tracks so that they could be loopable (ie. for infinite battle/round time).
Wow !!! I've never heard this version of his theme !!! This is DEFINITELY the best version and I already think Feilong's theme is the Best in all of Street Fighter 🔥🐉🔥🐉🔥🐉🔥 Best of the Best
It's strange to think that two people from two different games are based off Bruce Lee. This being Fei Long and Lu Kang from the Mortal Kombat series. Sorry if I spelt Kangs name wrong. I'm surprised Midway the makers at the time of Mortal Kombat and Capcom weren't sued well Bruce Lee at the time was dead. Kind of like that deal with Tyson in Punch out and street fighter with M. Bison in japan which was changed to Balrog in America due to law suites with the court and Tyson.
It's just a shame the track (before the 1-minute mark) isn't seamlessly loopable, at least not without the fade-out. That was my only gripe about the PC/DOS CD version of the game too.... it didn't allow for an infinite round timer, unlike the console ports, which did.
I had this version for the PC and yes, unfortunately the music for each stage were cut short as heard from these audio tips. If the fight lasted more than 45 seconds, the cd would repeat the audio to the beginning which was not seamless and there would be a slight pause. Sadly, this was due to the limited space of the cd format because with all the music and data, it was already 600+ mb. Man, the old days. Haha
By far the best version of this track I've ever heard, wow.
Exactly how I felt listening to this.
I had an insane goosebump 🔥🔥🔥🔥👀
100%agree

Check all others versions from PC version of the game.

RK this was a problem with my PC back in the day, the game would crash because the tracks would run out
The instrument selection is just flawless.

Not to mention Marshall Law from Tekken.
Don't forget about Kim Dragon from World Heroes
He actually came before Fei Long

When a couple of brits make a better version of the SFII soundtrack than capcom.
this is how you midi
This wasnt midi though. I remember the tracks being just CD audio tracks on the game disc.
An Kynes This is done through synthsizers and midi. Just exported to a red book file in CD quality.
