Nice video, quite different from other CZcams videos on the topic. I ride all year round, too. I have a Honda NTV 650 with a shaft drive, so I don't have to worry about the chain maintenance. Right after I received my motorcycle rider's license, winter came. In order not to lose the few skills I gained at the motorcycle school I put on Anlas winter tyres and started riding. I'm a food delivery courier and I've now ridden in snow, sleet, rain, fog, gail etc, both with it on the road and falling from the sky. It's all in the head. Don't blame the environment. The ONLY thing really stopping you from enjoying different riding conditions, surpassing challenges and gaining new skills is YOU.
    Greetings from Northern Europe.

Great wisdom- I agree with everything you said - I live where it’s cold - most of my friends ride spring till late autumn- I ride all year if I can - I can always wipe my bike down - after the ride - thanks for posting!

Yeh your completely right . IV only passed my test last year and every one of my lessons my module one and my module two were in very bad rain being in Wales . But I think it was a blessing in disguise because now I have the confidence to ride in any weather and it have helped me become a more accomplished rider .. great video by the way👍

I think riding in all weathers certainly makes you a better rider. If you're only used to dry clean roads then you won't have the skills if things turn nasty on your ride. Great vlog mate!

If you can i would have a winter bike for the salt and shit keeping a nicer bike for what we laughingly call summer. My all year round vfr has suffered from 3 winters in my care. Now i have a newer bike the vfr is having a summer rest and will come out again late autumn. The trade in was laughable so it makes sense for me to do it this way.

Hedge hog Absolutely, a winter hack is the obvious solution if you have the means. Although I do find keeping on top of the cleaning really helps. So what's your second bike then? another vfr?

A 2008 bandit 1250,a choice this channel helped me make :) One long ride last weekend and it was covered in crap so a hugger and mudguard extension to fit tomorrow. So far i love it's relaxed smooth upright power.

Hedge hog Amazed that you got one from watching this channel!! wow! Glad you're pleased with it. It's just a brilliant engine! A hugger and fender extender make a massive difference in keeping them clean. Ride Safe mate

British people talking about "proper winter"... I saw someone else do ths before. Show a picture with snow and ice and no snow and ice in the video itself. I'm just curious if anyone is actually crazy enough to ride 80km/h+ on snowy icy roads. I guess those that try don't live long enough to talk about it.
