Fishing on a deflating boat

Hello everyone, today I'm out fishing for whatever bites. I decided to bring out my inflatable fishing boat. But there's a problem. The patch I put on it did not last. My boat was deflating fast, so unfortunately I didn't really have time to explore this lake at all. But I was able to catch a few dinks so it wasn't all bad.

What boat do you have? Anything you wish you knew before you bought it? Tips/tricks?

It's the Intex Excursion 2. It's been a great boat. I like it because you can put it anywhere. The only thing is that it's hard to use it in cold weather. Also stay clear of metal objects in the water. The boat itself is very durable but since it's an inflatable it can very easily get pierced. You also don't really need a powerful trolling motor. We build a platform from plywood and attach the seats to it. It's been pretty sturdy.

I have the Kastking Speed Demon pro and the KastKing Speed Demon Elite reel. The other one is a Ugly stik carbon with the Kastking Royal Legend Glory reel
