- These are tea plantations in Munnar, Kerala, India. Beautiful, satisfyingly neat, bright green rows of tea plants perfectly covering entire mountain sides everywhere, and this blew us away. It looks out of this world perfect! We spent a good deal of time roaming these tea hills around the town of Munnar and near our private retreat, The Wild Trails Resort. If you didn't know, now you know, Munnar is a must visit destination.
Stay tuned for more upcoming videos, we post every Sunday and Wednesday!

Elephants, bison, dangerous don't go near them, its summer time so many wild animals coming to villages, they're very aggressive
Yes we had no idea! We are so thankful we did not run into any problems.
WOW. What? I didn't even know India could look like this. Another great one guys!
Western Media always showing Mumbai Slum...So there is no chance to know more about india.
How can we blame you. You know the things only which are shown to you. Slums, pollution, poverty, unhygienic places, beggers, cows, etc. Definately these are part of India but India is beautiful too. Every coin has two sides.

you should see Munnar and in general whole Kerala in Monsoon season, its completely different, so much green and cooler, would fall in love with nature and beauty of Kerala.
I guess that means we will have to come back :)
@@KeithandDev yup, guessed it right, but its really very beautiful, the whole Kerala is very beautiful, its not the destination itself, its the journey too very soothing, best time is from June to early December, since Kerala has only two season, summer and rainy. and by the looks of your video, it looks very dry and summer time in Kerala. In Monsoon season, Kerala looks and feels like heaven. Rent a bike or car or even local transport, you guys will enjoy it very much. and the food here is amazing. and you two couples look amazing together.
Kerala 💚🇮🇳
Such a beautiful state :)
Coorg(Kodagu) is more beautiful than Munnar specially Tadiandamol (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kodagu_district)

The entire western ghat mountain range is like this. Places like Munnar, Ooty, Conoor, Kodaicanal expanses through 3 Indian states: Kerala, Karnataka and Tamilnadu. Very underrated places.
Analogous scenaries exist up in the Eastern and North Eastern regions of India too: Sikkim, Darjeeling, Assam, Meghalay etc.
Also less explored and underrated.
@@direwolf7491 Maharashtra also has places like this. It's also a part of the Western Ghats.

I think in Kerala people are also very kind while speaking unlike north or east or west of India. Even compared to other south states, Keralites are very friendly.
People in Kerala were very friendly but so has the rest of India as well :)

Now it is summer time.Monsoon is the best time to visit Munnar.
Good to know, we thought it was really beautiful when we were there :)
Just a tip for future , Kerala is 10 times more beautiful in monsoon , if you are visiting again try visiting during end of may, or June to September ( of course its rains heavily but trust me its a whole diffrent experience )
The same places you visited would look entirely diffrent.
also do checkout local beaches, not the tourist once
Good to know! We will keep that in mind for our next visit :)
13:23 yeah you are right. More people of kerala are into tea. Not coffee. But people have coffee too.
9:21 bird sound is so peaceful
So peaceful
and so many amazing birds
WOW What an Amazing Place 😃🥰
It really is!
Mountain hills, desert, snow, beach and so many things to visit in India.
Very true :)
India is full of nature. We have 80% of the worlds wild tigers, about 60% of the worlds Asian Elephants, about 80% of the asian bison , almost 100% of the one horned rhino's, 100% of the worlds asiatic Lions , loads of leopards, bears etc. All of these must live somewhere isnt it? Search out the wild life sanctuaries/ tiger reserves wherever you go and stay in them. You won't regret it .
3:58 Masal tea is a stereotype for foriegners. People in kerala mostly have Normal tea or black tea. Masal tea is a northindian thing and foriegners thing not south indian.
Interesting okay good to know thank you :)
So much nature it is wonderful!
I thought I was the only one who loves Fried rice with Dal fry... it's an amazing combination ❤
it is really tasty 😍

Poori Bhaji , especially the way Bhaji is made in a very simple way in Mangalore in some hotels is my favorite breakfast item. I love Puttu with sweet coconut milk ( same with Soft fluffy Aapam ) … I find it very confusing why hotels don’t offer Puutu or Aapa with Sweet Coconut milk.. just love it as a breakfast item.. Puttu has to be soaked and broken up in Sweet Coconut milk whereas with Aapa just pour the sweet coconut milk Aapa or Aapam..
Sounds delicious! We will look out for that :)

10:25 that plate is used to have foods. Take that bowls out and smash the puttu and pour curry. Mix it tthen eat. We dont do dipps. Take curry as much you wanted to plate and have poori. Dont mix every foods. Poori and baaji is one dish and puttu and curry is another dish. Just google it if you have any doubt. All type of information is available on the internet.
Thanks for explaining how it is done :)

The domestic tourists are the ones who are littering all around kerala tourist places.
Recently there is story about a village in palakkad kerala named kollenkode some one rated it as most beautiful willage in india, the reels got viral and lots of people rushed as tourists to that peacefull place and littered all over the village. Villagers doesnt make that much trash as cities so the local governments doest have facilities to deal with plastic waste. People has to be responsible and shouldnot dump your trash in our villages.
If that’s h the r case hopefully domestic tourist will also start to clean up there garbage instead of littering. I’m sorry about the small village you mentioned. Often times social media is not good for certain places.

we have heard so much about and hope to visit there one day for sure :)
Are you guys vegetarians? There are lot of non-veg options including beef, pork and variety of seafood in Kerala. Kerala Porotta and beef fry is a must try if you eat non-veg..else you can try the traditional vegetarian meal served on banana leaf known as 'sadya' ...every state in India has different cuisines, languages, festivals, cultures, geographic landscapes etc...English is more commonly spoken in South India alongwith local languages. Hindi is commonly spoken in North India
