Well... as much as I liked the dancing, the dead crowed is killing the mood a bit. Still, its great to see those amzing dancers out of the stiff tournaments enjoying themselfes. And the dancing is just awesome to watch.
i have to agree with ya! is the crowd from another kind of dance? i mean, outside dancesport??
Leandro Ciccone it’s not outside of dancesport. My guess is that it was a breaking comp.
But I wonder how breaking got into the olinpics before ballroom and Latin.
Starcraf SF Because firstly they took the term dancing out of the name. It used to be called break dancing if you recall. Now it simply called breaking. The reason for that is that it doesn't fit the proper definition of the term dancing. Secondly breaking meets the IOC prerequisites and definition of sport. They still view dancesport as an art form, but you can see clearly how dancesport is trying to change that for this very reason. Thirdly It is modern and very popular with a younger audience and the athleticism and physical tricks they do can be exciting to watch. That is precisely the reason dancesport is doing what we see here. Does that answer your question?
@@joetesta3352 well said,Sir! as always. maybe this is not the first time and maybe mostly went unnoticed. we need more of these. because ballroom is known for being exclusive and hard to do. some examples here: young ppl will know Korean style dancing more or hiphop. this is an important promotion to get more attention from all viewers.
Joe Testa I’d still prefer it to have been ballroom or Latin. Because I could do with going through the tryouts and such to be on the US team for that. Would be fun.
That and I prefer watching Ballroom and Latin.
If I were the one who are watching live there for sure i'll stand up and scream. They are sooo great and impressive. Love from Philippines 🇵🇭💋
Bondareva - Gusev are the best.
If I would be there I will be screaming my lungs out and be clapping until I can't feel my hands 😍
I love it! great to see these talented dancers enjoying themselves in such a different setting, and bringing their dancing to a broader audience
I have to agree though.. the crowd seems a little too underwhelmed. But overall, great!
Martina Varardi and Krystyna moshenska are awesome!!!!!! Nice compétition . Thank you..
Bondareva is better, then Martina and Krys.
IMHO.
That German Samba roll was the winning move. All dancers were spectacular
🇲🇽🇺🇸💚❤️💙

Really happy to see such great performers dance in such a different setting. Imagine to see an event like this with the 2019 champions Ferdinando Iannaccone & Yulia Musikhina, Armen Tsaturyan & Svetlana Gudyno, Gabriele Goffredo & Anna Matus and Riccardo Cocchi & Yulia Zagoruychenko
This is SO MESMERIZING to watch... can we please make urban Latin dancing an event in all DanceSport competitions?!
This can be how Latin Dance is marketed! It’s the most convenient and instantaneous way to engage with newcomers
Забавно видеть бальные танцы в таком формате)))
Соглашусь
Впервые вижу их в смотрибельном формате, без ощущения кринжа по поводу стилизации, шмота, причесок, лака, загара и пафоса)
Так в разы лучше, современненько)
This has to become a reality
I've been waiting for LATINA BATTLES SO LONG! It's time to meet hip-hop culture with a sport dancing! SO MUCH FIRE!
Great! This is more understanding for people
Yep, after this video people can see how far ballroom from other “dances” :)
Ballroom is awesome and Gusev is best :)
What's up with the crowd..
Really bringing down some great dancing. What a shame!

Балан- Бондарева для меня идеальная пара

I really like that long hair lady..on how she dance...wooooooooow.....
What was that red shoes that Edgar Marcus is wearing ?🤔
Name of the first samba, plss 😬
Do Jack and Jill competition?
Like the west coast swing community
They cannot dance Jack and Jill. They can dance choreography with just one partner. And I really do not understand why men moves like women in ballroom dancing. Who created and promoted this weird trend that men look like women. This is so weird. Look at salsa, bachata, african rumba or any other real rooted dance. In all dance styles which evolved from ancient times men moves like men and women moves like women. Only ballroom dance style changed men into women. I was looking for an answer how it happened but I could not find any explanation.
@@globalcoupledances That is not african rumba, that is just ballroom rumba danced by people with dark skin. Look what real african rumba is: czcams.com/video/xrW0_N1ubBc/video.html Check Yoandy Villaurrutia and learn about real african dance style. Learn about history of dance and where it came from. He moves like man in dance not like woman. Men in salsa are not lazy they moves like men not women. You should find out more about history of dance.
It seems to me that dance, an art of expression, should be more free to develop and adapt to the music. This video demonstrates that in comparison to standard ballroom sanctioned events.
It may not be more technical, but it is more fun to watch despite that audience.
As to make and female roles in the dance partnership; isn’t that a function of the dance ( samba versus waltz versus crunk or jazz etc ), culture ( Latin versus Northern European) and the dancers ( flamboyant or not )?
@@globalcoupledances Haha educate yourself about history of dance because you know nothing about it.
@@globalcoupledances People in Japan dance salsa. Does it mean that salsa comes from Japan? What are you talking about? That people danced just ballroom rumba which has nothing to do with afro or african rumba. Are you just a silly child and I am wasting my time?
Please tell me name of the first samba song
Can I use this video? Thank you.
Hi! Unfortunately, there's copyright over this video which doesn't allow to be used other than in an embedded form. Best regards
Ugh guys, I'm new to dancing, so could someone tell me what the first dance was?
Cha cha
@@neringakatarina7634 Ty :3
What is this song's name? 2:30
В кроссовках, как говорится, и я могу 😂
does somebody know the name of first samba please?
Yep.
@@user-qb9lx1kt9q and can you write that name of the firts samba please?
@@dezo1734 yes, i can.
@@user-qb9lx1kt9q ok sent me a massage please or let me know in comment 😊
@@user-qb9lx1kt9q could you be so kind and let us know the name?
This crowd is a damp squid, they don't know how tough Latin dancing is. I guess they were expecting some lifts and tricks.
Elvis Desouza official. I think you may well be right. They didn't spin on their head and do hand stands etc. Big disappointment. I do get that spinning on you head is not easy though and pretty spectacular to watch. but it isn't exactly dancing now is it.
I giudici non sanno un bell niente né di ballo de ni música
Ma che non vedono il ritmo che hanno le coppie
Quanto sono bravi quelli a qui hanno tolto la vincita sulla gara?
Non sono d'accordo col loro voto
Does anybody know the song of the first samba?
Yep.
@@user-qb9lx1kt9q Could you tell me please 😅. That would be really nice
What the name of song at 08:32 , please
I am interested to promote your Latin sports at my channel/website. Looking great.
Гусев лучше
They lost me immediately with blurred lines. F that song and keep it away from partner dances where clear consent lines are important.
Yeah, that song, the "which (woman) did I have last week" song, and the guys smacking their partners lost me. This just embarrasses me as a dancer
To be fair lots of songs played frequently for latin dancing have far worse lyrics, but nobody cares because they are in Spanish or Portuguese...
14:05,презираю за этот момент

Слишком уж...
What happen with the emcee
De jó magyarok is vannak
Where's the Samba?
I went to a ballroom latin comp once and during the showcases an amazing hip hop performance was done, with similar response? Perhaps the crowd is anticipating and more excited for their own genre of dance. In that case I can understand the lack of enthusiasm.
bboys dont care)
No jeans please.
There is nothing wrong with folk, people are used to watch street dance, they are not following why there are so many weird unknown steps and where is the battle in this? where is freestyle and filing grooves with the music. is it battle or who can dance his own coreografy? dancers are in high level in sports dance competition but they don't know what a battle is... but respect that they try it)
CCC in these cloths and sneakers is just wrong... that is trying something to be it's not... will never be... just leave it!
Alina Nowak dancer without charisma at all!! 🤦♂️ Moshenskaya 😍
Not the right environment
the music is not samba ... what the hell.
russian couple much more better - over heads of others, higher dimention
First guy dancer distracted me a lot. I didnt know who to look guy or the girl. It was so confusing :(
Lack of eye-catchy moves like lifts, spin turns (>10 of course ;) ) : Hip-Hop crowd is use to shout at them. Also, hip-hop mixes Energy moves and technical ones, which creates a variation in dance dynamics (sport dance but energy at its highest level and keeps it all through the dance). Btw, I guess that the crowd sound is not corectly recorded too. Anyway, very nice idea, and also, special mention to latin dancers to come casually dressed... and with sneakers !!!
GoelWCS eh, I think lifts are over-rated and used too much. They hide too much, as someone less skilled can use a lift and it makes them seem more skilled than they are because your not focusing on the parts that are being messed up.
And ballroom and Latin also require keeping the energy levels at the highest as well. They’re just different dance styles. Arguably standard ballroom is the hardest of the styles to learn because it’s so rigid.
@@starcrafsf7101 I totally agree with you. That's why I said "eye-catchy moves". I was just trying to explain crowd (lack of) reaction. There is no value judgement.
@@globalcoupledances WRRC is for acrobatic rock and Boogie (isn't it? ), not stndard/Latin dances..
I can understand the crowd being lukewarm, the dancing was just OK. There was some stumbling to keep up and obvious uncertainty of steps. These were not dancers with natural rhythm. The crowd may have been expecting dancers that were able to be in tune with the rhythm of the music. It was funky and rhythmical. The dancers were more about using speed. There really wasn't a lot of great timing in movement to the music exhibited and the hip shaking rhythm just wasn't there. There may have been laughter at watching Marius's awkward attempts to show rhythm. Andrei's jumping around wasn't a good look either. There are WDSF couples that could have danced in this and exhibited the rhythm to the music the crowd may have been more responsive to but those couples don't seem to get these opportunities.
Not sure what you were watching but the technique here that they used was quite good. Their timing was on, and there were no stumbling of steps. They knew what they were doing.
They would probably be suspended for competing in a non-sanctioned event. This was a very entertaining attempt to cross over latin ballroom into the younger pop culture. Samba rolls at the end were amazing.
Deb C. I get what you're seeing here others might not. This has Latin moves, Latin steps but no Latin soul. That's all but completely missing This is still high energy, show and go, technically constipated Latin, performed by some of the most musically and rhythmically challenged male wdsf dancers. Power, speed, exaggerated, musically unrhythmical body actions, wild or rigid arm movements is not Latin that grabs you by the you know what's and slams you against a wall. Good proper Latin dancing does that. Its no wonder the crowd looked they were wanting a refund. Competition ballroom Latin can appear over stylised and stuffy I agree. This however is too sloppy looking for my liking, so I suspect somewhere between here and there is probably where ballroom Latin sits best in my view. It appears to me ballroom Latin is in a confused place at the moment and is trying to find itself. I like that its trying to appeal to the young people, but at the moment it seems it wants to be all things to all people. It aint gunna work me thinks.
Пришли славяне потанцевать.
not that good dancing but interesting way to dance. i guess it is limitation of the footwear and the floor.
Steven L not sure what you were watching but that was amazing. Their lines and technique were good.
@@starcrafsf7101 no cuban motion for starter.
Steven L cuban motion is only in Cha Cha and Rumba. With Rumba having the most of it because it’s slower and allows for not hip action. Samba does have a bit of hip action but it’s more core than anything else, but it won’t have Cuban motion because of its speed, you just don’t have that time.
@@starcrafsf7101 look at this chacha by Maurizo and Andra. Do you see hip action? czcams.com/video/ngTmq0s0Ejg/video.html you have HA, but it isn't as settle as rumba or samba. the footwear also impede their dancing too. look at how often their heel is off the floor, it is because of lack of heels when compared to regular dance shoes. imo, it won't be too good for their knees. i'm not saying urban dancing doesn't have its place (esp for attracting young people to ballroom dancing) but they need proper footwear (jazz shoes may be?).
Samba?? You should be ashamed of saying that. Ridiculous!!
Not so beautiful in casual clothes
Fabulous dancers, dead audience
Audiences is a part of dancing💩🤢
