7-8 years ago Moto X Force was launched with Shattershield screen, Motorla was so confident about the display that they gave 4 years screen replacement warranty. And the best part, the phone didn't compromise on hardware, it had a flagship processor, AMOLED display, wireless charging, a good camera and it looked like a normal phone not some ugly glorified phone case.
moto x force series se acha koi nahi tha it's stupidly sad they discontinued the phone agar aaj bhi aata hota toh use karta but last z force 2 ke baad aya hi nahi ... moto ke hath mei aesa unique feature tha jo na apple pe tha na Samsung pe and really moto x force display was really shatter proof

When I first learnt the concept of rugged phones, I too was interested in them. Having a phone that claims resistance to water and temperature gives a different coolness factor. But yes for a normal person it holds no practicality.

It would survive if the plastic case was raised a bit around the display like the bumper cases. There was almost no protection from display side on this phone... Plastic screen could also be better for rugged phones.

I used Honor 9 lite for like 4-4.5 years.
Never broke display or back glass panel even though it was one of the fragile slim phone😂.
Just use your phone with care, it will survive as much as you want it to(obviously depends on hardware failure 😅)
