You guys are learning quickly. No, we didn't see it as Michael having loyalty to Phil over the team. We saw it as Krause betraying the team by refusing to give Phil another year. Krause was the villain.

It’s fun watching the last dance, where there was this drama happening within the Bulls organization. But there’s me as a, Chicago kid during the 90’s Bulls dynasty just enjoying the ride 😂

The thing about Krause and Reinsdorf were they were always threatening to break up the team because they were getting older. They had won six championships and Reinsdorf was looking toward the future while the Bulls were the champions. So getting rid of Coach Jackson after years of winning wasn’t something the main Team wanted to do. So Michael retired, Pippen went to another team but was never a winner again. He almost won In Portland without MJ but it didn’t happen.

Guys, in the late 80s, early 90s, Bulls vs Pistons was THE Match-up!
Moreso even than the Finals.
Bulls vs Pistons was the marquee match-up of the season!
And believe me, being a 15 year old from Chicago, we hated the Pistons.
HATED!
When the Bulls finally swept them, and they were shown to be cowards by not shaking hands, we Bulls fans KNEW there was a changing ofnthe guard...
Until we found out that we had to play the Lakers.
We were worried in that first year (of the run of Championships).
But when we saw what this Bulls team was able to do to the Lakers... THE LAKERS!!!
We knew that this Bulls team was special!

We aren’t able to move it as this is how we recorded them for our Patreon, we have the full episodes on there, we just cut them down for this channel. We had less experience then so this issue didn’t even cross our minds, sorry 😭
