Almost all of these crashes could have been avoided by just being patient and slowing down
If they would have just looked at what was happening aswell all of them would have been basically prevented.

Most common theme here kids:::
1:30 case of two low skill drivers *causing amplified oscillations* and self induced crashes. Every good driver should practice at/over the limit swerving in low consequence circumstances (no traffic wide open road modest speed). Getting behind the car is the problem. If you crash without even contacting anyone it's 100% YOUR FAULT.
You don't "turn into the skid" as much as *turn against the DIRECTION of rotation,* moderated by angle of misalignment from intended trajectory. YES it takes practice and/or comprehension and good reflexes. I'd guess 90% of drivers can't pass this test bc they haven't slid a car around enough in their youth.
2:50, 3:20, 4:25, 8:40, 8:55, 11:10, 12:40, 13:55 ... all same damn thing, GOOD GRIEF, get a clue ALL.
Impatience has nothing to do with it, was racing, gaming, ego battles, not paying attention, poor situation awareness and low skills.
And by not driving in China, for a lot of them
it always bothers me to see innocent bystanders caught up in others reckless stupidity.

In Brazil if you do that someone is going to cut in front of you to occupy the "free spot" or they're going to stick to your tail to pressure you into not being a slow ass "idiot". I believe people in car driving schools should have a mandatory 100 hours of dashcam videos.

(3:42) In Germany If someone is infront of you and they turn on the blinker towards left or right you have to give him space. But I think it only applies for Cars.
The cammer was completely inattentive hence the crash. But in most countries the blinker doesn't give right of way to the one changing lanes.

@@BriarMaeriSibyle: That's understandable, but in some of the videos the entire rear or front of the vehicles are blurred out, and in others even the faces of the drivers who caused the crash are also hidden!! Only this compilation has these features.

I tell people to give the car in front lots of space specifically because of accidents like these, but surprisingly even with all that space drivers still have awful reaction times! Look how many drivers swerved when they could've just braked.

9:16 + 10:46 i still cant wrap my head around the fact that almost every one in these videos is driving automatic. and some still are overburdened with the astonishing amount of foot pedals to operate their cars properly. i mean its a 50/50 chance even if you never heard of which pedal is for breaking. and they SHOULD have heard about it. and to be honest, If an accident is the cause of the confusion, i don't think you're really fit for the road. only worse drivers are those who get confused with accelerator and break pedal while parking (out).

The problems with these crashes and pthets is that either they want to beat a light or go faster than the speed limit goes
Now 4:44 is a very unique car accident I must say. I actually feel sorry for the guy who will be blamed for it (the one who has the camera in his car) because you can't blame the guy who is stopped obviously. The only other person to blame in this situation is the guy who, quite frankly, is to be blamed, which is the guy who fooled him by pulling out of the lane and only revealing the stopped cars when he did. But then trying to penalize him at a legal level feels wrong. That's a tough one for sure. I feel sorry for the guy who will be at fault for sure.

In Germany, the last five cars are usually at the end of the traffic jam with hazard warning lights so that you can see well in advance that traffic is stationary or there is a danger and that people can brake in time
We do that in Mexico too, but the reality is that not everyone does it and it eventually accidents happen if the driver isn't paying attention.

I recently got into a accident and watching this makes me grateful it wasnt as bad as it could have been, we only got hit on the side, and nobody was injured so its fine.
What always amazes me about these incidents is not the poor judgement or speed, it is the total lack of anticipation. Like they think they might be in trouble and could possibly do something about it, but no they decide to plough on in anyway. Reactions like a stegosaurus.
