This house was immaculate with modern furnishings to an excellent standard. There were special touches such as toiletries situated in the bathroom. In addition, the kitchen facilities were excellent with all utilities required should you wish a quiet dining.
The house was very spacious and as described could fit six people adequately. The host was excellent in his communication regarding booking confirmation and general communication. Would definitely recommend. 👍

I am in Airbnb. I have a few. One thing I have learned is that you do not go all out to decorate/furnished an Airbnb. You might end up getting burned. Best to go with the basic. Keep it clean and provides good service.
Thank you, thank you. That's the same thing I commented on. It's overdone for an Airbnb. Basic, clean is best. As a frequent user of Airbnb all this decor does nothing for me.
Plus the price is competitive with All Insurance in the area which offers food, entertainment, beach and excursions.
I think this owner would do better renting this as "furnished long term ". It's a hard sell for Airbnb.

Based on what I’m seeing on this site this place is doing very well. Overdone or underdone. Is all a matter of perspective and Individual taste. Also your pockets
Might be a little shallow or light compared to this host. I don’t know but the point is , You can only speak for yourself and not for the thousands that are looking to rent.
When I’m renting an Airbnb I don’t look for the basics as you stated. Basics are boring and a dime a dozen. I want something different and I want luxury. When i am spending I want to be comfortable and enjoy myself. The basic might be Good for you as you might be a basic person but and the other lady not won’t cut it for many of us.
The price is lower than the similar offerings on Airbnb of that size most are going for over 300 a night. It’s NOT in the same price range as a all inclusive ad that’s PER PERSON so what ever the price is here you have to multiply by 6 if you wish to be fair on your comparisons.
I see on the site the hosts also offer long term rentals. So none of your ‘points’ make sense.

Wow!!!! One of the nicest and most luxurious homes I have ever seen on CZcams ( Jamaica) for Airbnb.
I have to book for my upcoming trip in August. It’s in the perfect location with everything I need. And the price is extremely reasonable. This will certainly be taking the market by storm and go very fast.

I see they have appliances that seems to be 60hz. Jamaica is 50hz. How do they get it to work. I have those 60hz appliances and the dishwasher and washing machine does not work. Could you please help by finding out what electrical component they install for those appliances to work. Thank you kindly.

You are the owner I'll like to say it's a beautiful home but way too overdone for Airbnb and the price is equilivant to an All Inclusive hotel that offers food, entertainment and beach experience right on the property.
It's best suited rented as a furnished long term rental to someone on work contract in the area. Your rent could be directly taken from their pay and deposited into your account to avoid shaft renters.
If your not getting any Airbnb renters look into long term furnished options.

Sorry, Delpratts although it's a beautiful home. It's overdone for an Airbnb and they have priced themselves out of the market considering All inclusive hotels in the area charging the same with food, entertainment, beach, airport transfered and excursions. This is going to be a struggle on short term rental space at that price. They would get offers as " Furnished long term rental" hope they look at all the comments if it's not renting short term. Just my constructive opinion. I do think it's beautiful but in the wrong market space. I didn't see a pool either.

I thought the same. I don’t think this is over 2000 sq ft of indoor usable space. Unless they include the patios. The downstairs is really small.

It's a beautiful home but overdone for an Airbnb and over priced compare to hotels with food and entertainment,security,beach, transportation to and from airport. This isn't offering anything but space.
It's best suited for people having family reunions at 236 per night it would be about $40 per person.
It's best suited marketed as " long term furnished rental".
It's beautiful but overdone for short term rental. Less is more. People looking for a clean, safe place. The other frills aren't necessary in Ochie where people are more out daily.
This is featured on another vlog. Hope they put it on "furnished long term " if they aren't getting any short term rentals. Its more suited for that.

There’s no high quality hotel in Jamaica that’ll give you 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 comfortably at that cost. You are comparing apples and oranges. This is a space created to host a whole family and not a single person. That $250~ can only accommodate 1 at a hotel. If the Airbnb concept doesn’t suit your needs that’s fine but it provides better value.
@@TheDelprattFamily I use Airbnb all over the world including in Jamaica. There are Airbnbs in the area that offers breakfast if orderd the day before and they come with kitchen too. The hosts charges $ 7.00 for breakfast. They don't advertise their perks until guests book. I know because I've used them. Some also have car that they rent to guest . I wish him all the best renting it without perks.

Agreed, I've seen my friend's phase 1 unit. clumsy workmanship, none of the finishes like the doors, cabinets are even close to what was originally advertised. Poor installation. You have to wonder where DCR spent all that money! Also none of the promised amenities are even close to completion. The development is very much , after like 4 years, still a construction site. This seems like an awful lot of positive comments on a place with a link that didnt even work....
@@jenworth9021 whilst that may be applicable to your 'friends unit' i can assure you it is NOT to this particular one. Every effort was made to ensure all details and finishes were completed to perfection. I have seen and inspected this unit and its perfect in every way shape and form. Perhaps you should book and see for yourself?

@@markymark4765 I'm glad you were pleased with your inspection, but your comments raise more concerns. Why would some units be shoddy (as I saw myself) and others "completed to perfection" ? Isn't it the same developer ? Isn't it the Same development? Same pricing structure? Could it be that the developer owns this unit? In your haste to challenge my comment, I guess you missed the other earlier comments that also noted the link didn't work. I'm glad that's been resolved. My preference when going to Jamaica isn't to stay at construction sites , and I like amenities, which are not finished there. Thanks for the suggestion though, bless up!

This video is nice…. Great job by owner to get ready for your business….I hope all viewers could get the opportunity to view complex and all homes to see the struggles….property isn’t what was promised in initial videos….The work done is shabby and possibly not built to specifications based on governances and the building plans. Stairs are uneven and step height and width varies which makes it unsafe. No rails on lower level. Bathroom tiling is shabby, shower doors are not installed properly so water runs out into the bathroom and adjoining bedroom. Shower frames are rusted. You have to turn to the side to sit on the toilet in the 1/2 bathroom. Bathroom vanity and medicine cabinet installed poorly: the cabinet is so low that the faucet lever touches it when you turn on the faucet. Light switches are in odd places, for example, outside of a room. Exterior doors are not the doors advertised in their first ad. Cracked and scratched tiles throughout plus grouting job must have been done by a child. Missing manholes which causes sewage smell coming into the house and house has to be snaked/rod out. Plan has 5 manholes and only 2 were built. Windows poorly installed and not sealed to prevent water and insects from coming in. Shabby paint job throughout. Contractor is rude and entitled and treats owners as though you begged for the house vs purchasing it so you get what you get mentality. Do your research and RUN IF THIS PLACE IS IN CONSIDERATION…..YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
