I have often wondered about sewing with terry cloth/towels... didn't know if the excess fraying would clog up the inside of the bobbin area or not. I do have a favorite pair of shorts and think I'll try making them out of a pretty towel now :) THANKS for sharing and blessings to you!! :)

Yes, I inserted a 1inch elastic through the waistband

Great job. I noticed you’re using weights and pins. Up to you but generally people use weights when they’re not using pins. To stop the pattern sliding off the fabric.
