Sucks to have employees and not being sure if one of them broke in and robbed your stuff - also sucks to be an employee and have your boss thinking one of you broke in and robbed him
The owner needs to setup security cameras with night vision, motion detection and SMS alerts so it will wake him up. Also setup an air siren that can activated remotely. Put air tags in all your vehicles and most expensive tools. Personally I would set up some bait they couldn't resist and then camp out close by for a few nights.
MIKE ANDES, the Gordon Ramsey of lawn servive Rescues. Love this show keep it up good sir you are needed and appreciated
Lol I've been saying the same for the longest time.
The John taper lol love these ! 💪❤️💯🙏🤝 keep it up man of God I appreciate you. This is your ministry. I’m just in the first five minutes and I feel like the guy Josiah is just not showing a bit of sympathy about the situation. He would be number one suspect. But let me keep watching lol
@derrickforeal my dad seans lawns says he played college lacrosse with Derrick foreal and he is also a weightlifter and was a good goalie, is this you mistur Derrick?
I do admin for a 2M landscaping business. I work 55 hours a week. I also run materials in and out of jobs, can drive a truck and trailer, can chain a tractor on a trailer and deliver it to a jobsite, etc, I do payroll, pay vendors, bill customers, make bank deposits, manage all inspections, registrations, and schedule repairs and maintenance on a fleet of 11 trucks and 8 trailers, and a lot of other tasks. If a mower goes down I deliver a back up mower to the crew so they can keepnworking. If they forgot a piece of equipment I run it to the job site. If your admin can do more than computer work, it frees the boss up to do sales and estimates, and keeps the guys on the job site working, instead of driving materials around wasting time.
I hope you are paid enough to do all this ? :/
@orionpaillette1398 I am. And I have a company car, all expenses paid, as an additional perk. I like that every day is different, and has new puzzles to solve. If I just sat in an office I'd be bored and falling asleep. I love my job.
You sound like a huge asset to your team 👍💪
@HaganHall Thanks, I try. I am overhead, but I try to get some billable hours in every day....watering new installations, or hopping on a zero turn to finish a route, if a guy has to leave early, etc. As a 62 yr old woman, I can't work in the field all day anymore. But I help where I can. Owners just need to think beyond the admin as an office girl when they hire. Look for an old farm girl like me. Lol.
I am ready to pay you $16,000 a year 😂
Jk
Keep this series up. Love it
I feel a very valuable video would be a deep dive into how different businesses have structured their admin staff and delegated tasks to them.
I see a business turnaround, and I like the video instantly cause I know it’s going to be good! 🙌🏻
Mike thank your everything you do whenever I feel at my lowest I watch your videos and get put back on track reminding myself why I started cutting grass 4 years ago and never looked back
LETS GOOOO
We all go through, our go through. Once you're through the tears you look back and remember all the things you've been through. Never gets easier you just get better
You need to do us next I think your followers would get a lot out of seeing the hood cleaning business
Crime pays when the consequences are low. Here in Colorado we have rampant auto theft because even if they get caught, they are out the same day.
This guy could make a lot renting out space on his lot. There is tons of space and the extra activity would help with security. Also the revenue could up security as well. It seams a common theme in these is that hiring or buying is the way people think will solve all problems. Developing employees and motivating them is where effort should be spent and will produce more benefits.
NO SEATBELT these boys are living on the edge
I wonder where the old friend was at the time of the break-ins... No reason jc
Incredible work, media Team 🎉💪
Mike, you are the best!
Love coming home friday to these videos. Keep killin it
Customers owe me about 25k per month but nothing ever past 30 days
Sounds like an inside job with the robbery
A truck and a tow chain can take almost anything if theres enough time. Short of a security guard, the best thing to do is get some RING stickup cameras to alert you and GPS trackers.
Thanks!
Much appreciated 🙏🏼❤️
@@MikeAndes that's a small fraction of what I owe you for your knowledge, eventually I'll meet you and your team and have the ability to have more automated business and systems in place. When I make the time to use your landscape business course and the co-pilot software. As of now I need to get back to working @ the business. Thanks again
You need GPS trackers on all your stuff, sir.
HIT THE VAPE! 💨💨💨💨
🤣🤣💯
$1800 for an hour phone call? That’s criminal 😂
mike is worth it
@@RayWilliamJohansenbs
@@RayWilliamJohansenno it's not
It's not worth it to you, maybe. To someone who can and will utilize his time and knowledge base, it's well worth it. 😉
Mike has said that he priced it high on purpose so that only people that need high level advice will book calls, since he's too busy for one on one calls now.
Jills office can put data into your CRM. You just send out the estimate. It’s faster and worth it vs an admin.
There’s so many thief’s across the country stealing catalytic converter’s. We had to park our trucks in an off site location away from our office. ☹️🤦♂️
I have no reason to watch these videos, no want to get into any of these fields. But the way these videos are made make me want to watch, these are tv worthy.
How you know about that knife trick Mike? 😂😂
I think that’s why he runs ramp racks and open trailers…
I’m trying to hire a lawn care company in my area in San Antonio that has the setup to take a payment over the phone. A legit company. All I get knocking at my door in my area are chuck in truck taking cash only ..
Why not hire the chuck in a truck? Everyone has to start somewhere. Big companies don't just magically appear overnight. Itd be nice to help one of these people grow to be bigger.
I wish there was something like this for mobile auto detailing
I think he does any service business. You just have to apply on his site
You can take lessons and apply.
Figure out your hourly rate.
Efficiency budgeted hour subs actual hours.
Admin when you are ready…
Find a software best for you. I know Copilot can let you know if it can work for you. But I know service titan can work for you as well.
Marketing you can look into door hangers as well. Social and digital ads
It’s a lot in the channel you can apply
$1800 an hour for a phone call. Damn you banking on these guys.
He has 150 locations lol. He doesn’t need the phone calls
@@mackeejack6731 that wasn't the point but thanks for expressing how you took it.
@@kingyankee69 Bozo: he makes $5m just from his franchising. He's going to price his phone calls accordingly. He's not making bank, he's valuing his time accordingly. You just think small.
Trailer says “Free Estimates.” I think charging for estimates is the quickest way to get rid of tire kickers. Doesn’t matter so much what the fee is. People who want a free quote wouldn’t pay $20.
Mike, when you use the 25% rule for labour hours: is that just labour or do you also include the truck, labour and equipment ect. We currently charge $75/man hour but also charge hourly for the truck trailer and equipment
Direct labor only
@@MikeAndesgreat. Thats what I thought. Thanks for the great content and the reply.
Did they get them.
Hi mistur Mike it’s me Jaxon and my dad Sean’s lawns tells me to watch you byeeeee
One of his workers did it
Do mowing in a safer city bro.
Hey Mike , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
Feel like its his manager that stole. He wanted a higher pay, and immediately went to where everything was gone. Sold everything he took
I think he immediately went to check the trailer because that’s where everything was kept. I don’t think that’s suspicious. It’s like if your house is broken into and you have a safe. You go check the safe first. I’m going with the employee he was going to fire. But had to keep due to the break in.
Move
Wow, i thought people didn't steal tools because it involves actual work. To make money 😂😂
