@@lostemu8988 All states are safe, all states have dangerous areas. NY City has good tourists areas and great neighborhoods and very dangerous places like the Bronx, Harlem and Brooklyn, but even in those dangerous areas there are good quiet and safe places. You have to choose where to go and then google it to find out the crime rate by area. I live in the State of Maryland and yes we have places where I don't go like some areas of Baltimore but my home state is just beautiful and great.

I stumbled across this video and your chan, and it brought a prideful tear to my eye! Most Americans don't realize how good we've got it, compared to the standard of living throughout the world! Of course, we have our faults, but I commend you for your honest assessment of our rapidly morphing and influential culture... I understand that your experience in America is linear and not global... Just like my assessment of a foreign country, I've visited, with limited exposure... I have spent several months in India (I was married to a native of Madras)... but I can never hope to understand India, or it's people, in a meaningful way... but, as a Westerner, my opinion is that the people of India, are wonderful, profound, generous and kind.
I am happy that foreign tourist find Americans to be friendly... I've lived in so many places in the US. I currently live in Orlando Florida, and I sometimes feel that we don't treat foreign tourist, or appreciate them the way we should... Mainly because 99.9999999% of Americans don't know a foreign language (excluding spanish)... lol. If you come to the US, with very little english skills, it will be difficult to explore our great nation! The further away from cities you get, the friendlier and more helpful people will be... but language, sadly will be a barrier.
The main point I want to share, is that most tourist, that come to the US, miss the point. The US is much more than shopping cities and consumerism. Sure NY, Miami, LA, San Francisco, Vegas... All the big cities, are alluring and cool, but! IMO, the most amazing parts of the US are the natural wonders... and I'm not talking about the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, etc... they are ALSO overrun with tourists (both US and foreign)... I am talking about the numerous National Parks, Monuments and State Parks, scattered throughout our nation! I want to offer a personal example, I grew up and lived in Arizona off/on throughout my life!! 99% of foreign tourist to Arizona rush to the Grand Canyon! Flagstaff, AZ is considered the Gateway to the Grand Canyon! But there are so many astoundingly beautiful and unique sites within a stones throw of Flagstaff, that are, IMO, as impressive as the Grand Canyon itself! Very few people visit these places.... So, you actually get to relax and savor the site, without getting bombarded by the cacophony of tourist disruption.
These are my favorite sites around Flagstaff:
Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument / Wupatki National Monument: Unspoiled Indian ruins, from a culture that lived with a volcano... PLUS, a perfectly preserved 700 year old eruption. The Indian ruins are NOT a typical Indian ruin site. The access and the ruins are impressive! Yet, no crowds, no queues, just desert winds, and your thoughts.
Meteor Crater: Barringer crater is the best preserved meteor impact site on earth... Awe Inspiring! You can hike all over this mile wide crater.... that was blown out in an instant! Walking the crater and soaking in the magnitude of its formation, is a spiritual experience!
Painted Desert/Petrified Forest: This National Park used to be HUGE! Yet for some reason, it's not very crowded.... Spectacular, otherworldly vistas!!!! If you are interested in geology/paleontology, it's a world-class must see!
Other Honorable Mentions: Walnut Canyon Nat'l Monument, Canyon De Chelly Nat'l Monument, Dinosaur tracks (these are on Navajo lands... but VERY cool.. if you're into dinosaurs). Further away, but worth seeing... LAKE Powell. Antelope Canyon, Marble Canyon. Vermillion cliffs (probably the ONLY place to see a California Condor)
    Too many places to mentions.
I love your chan. I am sub'd Can't wait to see more.

I agree with you on CHOICE! America has a lot of choices and the $100k college is the average. Yes, there are much cheaper ways to get a college degree, like not going to college in America. Most universities in Europe are much cheaper and unlike in the states when you are not a resident they don't charge more. As an American you can go to college in Germany for free! You could go to China for free! Spain, 4 years of college will cost you about $11,000. I hope this helps any Americans looking for a way to get a college degree. Murders are still some low five figure number like under 20K. If one compares this to our population of probably 350 millions plus once the new census is done, it is irrelevant to be worried about gun deaths. Most of which are suicides. America is a developed country, and it is home to many outstanding personalities such as Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, who daily develop USA technologies with their achievements.
I knew about many interesting facts from the video from history, from school lessons and from photo from the Internet, but I did not expect that the country has such long railway lines, but there are no high-speed trains. And it came as a surprise to me that in many states the level of criminality is too high.
In general, the video is useful for those who know little about America, for those who have never been there or want to move to live in this country.
