I am Moroccan. I do not advise all tourists to go to Jemaa El Fna Square because there are many scammers. However, if you go there, you should not talk to scammers who own snakes, monkeys, or anything like that, because they will scam you if you take a picture.

i moroccan and i did't go for jamaa lfnaa for years for this reason even when i m in the city .. but when they ask you for money because you filmed you just ignore them ther is no rule for paying for just making a vedio .. they are just greedy ... if you really want a beautiful experience you shoold go see other cities like shefashaouen rabat fez tangier south of morocco.like dades and merzouga go to ifran and azro.. their where peaple are less greedy and more friendly and still got the moroccan expireince history and beautiful nature

I would’ve paid him if I actually wanted to have anything to do with him, showing me the monkey do tricks. they stop you even though you don’t want to have anything to do with it. then expect you to give them money. It’s a horrible way to get money out of anybody.

I don't like Marrakesh, i prefere Agadir or other city of Morroco it's better. Marrakesh it's scam so much and shame they catch monkey for make them work with chain... Shame don't do picture.
Completely agree I absolutely hated seeing how dirty that monkey was. was not well kept for sure.

This is so funny because this is what we were talking about when I was editing the videos and the whole trip when we were there. I go Justin you’re so miserable dude and it’s something we joked about the whole trip. I’m happy finally someone noticed besides me.😂🤣😂 it was his first time out of the country dealing with aggressive sellers. He definitely did not enjoy the marketplace whatsoever.😂🤣 but he did enjoy Morocco. Overall, I promise you that.
