The Jamaa El Fna square is not only the most touristic place in Marrakech but in all of Africa next to the Giza Pyramids
It’s very different from other medinas and cities in Morocco because everybody there lives out of Tourism, thats why you see locals speaking many languages and trying to attract tourists the best way they can (even tho it can be tiring for a visitor).
There are other things to do in Marrakech so Im looking forward for your next videos!

Food prices are more expensive around Marrakech square and the tourist areas because rental is extremely high!
Sadly even local tourists get charged high prices! But it’s an experience…

i loved watching your morocco series and i like you guys energy haha. I'm actually from Marrakech and as a local, i consider the medina as one of the most annoying places in morocco for me personally for many reasons, but mainly because of how many hustlers and beggers or the continuous invasion of peoples personal space. I wish it was more chill like in rabat or tangier ; and those places still have those types of hustlers but its not as bad as marrakech. Which is why whenever someone lets me know they're going to marrakech, first thing i tell them is learn to say no, no, and no which you guys did beautifully! i liked how confident you guys got throughout these videos haha

Go to Chefchaouen, Marrakech can be hectic even for Moroccans like me. And those market hustlers, that's how it became there, competition between the shops...etc . It is unfortunately not how Moroccans generally are, we are a people that would be happy sharing food and everything we have with foreigners and even embarrassed to ask you to pay. I have had foreigners visit my parents and stay with us for days , and fed them and gave them everything for free, in Rabat by the way :) perhaps the town that you like the most so far :)

The Minister of Tourism in the current government is not doing her job well. There are many beggars, vendors and shopkeepers who embarrass tourists when they stand up to them and invite them into their shops and restaurants. This is something that bothers tourists. These greedy merchants must be prosecuted legally so that they stop bothering and embarrassing tourists. Tourists have the freedom to choose to enter any place they want without any suggestion or invitation from anyone.

Hi , so you obviously saw the Koutoubia Mosque and Jemaa el-Fnaa , I recommend you to go see these following places if you got time because they are really beautiful and I guess you'll like them : Ben Youssef Madrasa , Menara Gardens , Bahia Palace , El Badi Palace , Saadian Tombs , and least but not least Jardin Majorelle . there are other places to see but I guess those are enough .
NB : be carefull of getting scamed and don't be embaresed to say "No" or " No I don't want to"
Marrakech ( my home city ) is one of the most beatiful cities in the world ( in my opinion ) because it has it own special atmosphire in adittion to its historical moniment and traditional handicraft and also most of people are kind except the beggers and the Scammers ( kids , peddler , taxi drivers , stores owners , ... ) which are mostly present in Jemaa el-Fnaa .
Your experience here could be much better and more entertaining if you had a local friend .

Marakkech prices are awful even for us Moroccan. Anybody who walks their is treated as tourist even if you’re native. They usually don’t care because they know if you don’t buy others will.
Hope government will change this in the future and introduce some rules.
For me best marrakech it’s just for view and best places to see are the coffee basha shop which worth a visit and mamounia palace, it’s an expensive 5 star hotel but the architecture is worth the visit

المراكشيين للأسف يخربون اقتصاد مدينتهم المعتمدة على السياحة بأيديهم متلا الشاب طلب 20 درهم في حلوى رغايف لا يتجاوز تمنها 3 دراهم في جامع الفنا أمام صاحب العصير رجل يمد يده لتسول بشكل حقير وكتير من المضاهر السلبية شاهدتها في فيديوهات مع سائحين آخرين . على القاءد ان يمنع متل هؤلاء الباعة الجشعين من تدمير اقتصاد مراكش وعلى الشرطة السياحية منع التسول بجامع الفناء
