My main goal has always been to be able to wash the soap off without leaving anything behind, then immediately moisturizing with a simple unscented clear "hand cream". I NEVER use body wash, only natural unscented simple bar soap. Mostly traditional French bar soap. Other factors to my youthful skin could be daily rigorous gym workouts, eating relatively healthy food, and good skin DNA, frequent exfoliation using only a wet facecloth, good quality mineral water, little sun exposure, and no alcohol.

Do you wash your face with soap?
I use a block of plain homemade lye soap, learned it from my elderly neighbor as a young kid. Never had any issues with it lol. Definitely doesn't smell very good though.
What about olive oil soap?

I make soap
Hello I’m a black man with combination skin and slight hyperpigmentation. Since you make soap is dove really good . Also what about dr bronners Castile soap . Drs say it’s to drying and strips the skin of natural oils and is too drying . But , someone said if you add sone non comedogenic oil to it it’s not drying and won’t strip your skin . Is anything I sent you true at all . Thank you .
