Wow I love the makeover! My favorite is the sitting areas. Nice to have breakfast in the mornings out on the deck. Then sit on the rockers later in the day with a book and a cup of tea. Sorry, I am having a Hallmark moment! Great job 💗👍

Ohhh I love the dust pans with the plants in them, that's so cool! I'm still looking for my metal dust pan like my mama had.. it was copper and the cream colored area had veggies painted on it. I love that cabinet too Susan! I have a late 1800's step back cupboard that was black once upon a time, and now of course its just all chippy and gorgeous! I have several of the old lanterns on my covered front porch. Some are hanging, some are sitting. And my oldest one i keep inside the house, the one outside are different colors but my old one is just rusty & crusty😁 I found a nest not long ago and its full of the little down feathers and pieces of little blue egg shells. But its so soft from all the feathers, just precious! I've got all sorts of bird houses and little bird cages hanging and sitting around. I'd love to have one of the buckets! The vase you have the succulents in, i have one just like it but its a darker color, a brownish-greenish color with the metal rings on the side..i don't even know where i got it 🤷♀️lol I think it used to be a Terra cotta color.. it sure is heavy! Maybe its cement?? I'm obsessed with the old washing machine!!😮 That's way too cool! I love enamel ware, my grandma & old granny had lots of it when i was little. Lol girl I got birch logs & pine cones in a basket on my porch too😄 Ohhh I love the little coop with the chicken & little eggs!! I need some Flower frogs..i want the spiky metal ones & can't find them🫤 The bird bath I'd gorgeous! Ohhh you just have soooo much pretty & neat pieces..i love all of it! And LOVE the way you decorate!! TFS😊
Everything looks great. It like you can see and focus on your pieces. Before there was alot of stuff and it was distracting. You dint know what to look at and it kept you busy wanting to see everything. Now you have room ! Your eyes can enjoy at a easy pace. If that makes sense. I like everything in yr house and how you decorated it. I so enjoy the passion you have for antiques. It makes things cozy and peaceful.

I have porch envy. Mine is only 30 sq ft more space than yours, but I'd have to wash down the whole kit and kaboodle once a month to keep it as pretty as yours. I live in the country, so there's mega dust. I keep a big, oval galvanized horse tank made into a fountain at one end of the porch. On and around it I have a collection of various plants. The dribbling water from an old gooseneck hand pump I rigged up to be a water feature is soothing to hear when I walk outside and it's 105° and 5% humidity from late June through August. You've inspired me to find a couple of nice, big comfy rockers and a different table. The one I have is bar height. It's good to do projects, but not compatible with my other pieces. I need a footstool in front of my rockers for unscheduled naps. You made me realize I haven't enjoyed my porch much since I put the Meadoecraft metal furniture out there. Even in the summer heat it's hard, cold and uncomfortable. I need to find something simar to your yellow cabinet to replace my unsightly plastic storage unit. Thanks for the inspiration! 💡😯💡
@theoldsonso No, but there's one that runs 150 ft, right beside the bedroom end of this ranch style house. I have an evergreen windbreak, but it can't catch everything. The road beside me is extra busy because there's a big dairy down that dirt road a half mile west. I'm just thankful I don't get the odor off the dang thing every day. Thank the Lord our SW wind sends it NE of me toward town. 😄
And I thought that I had a lot of “stuff”. My porch is probably half that size. We had 4 tornadoes touch down in area yesterday so we have leaves, branches, etc. to contend with too. Best of luck!
