There were actually two stunts that Keanu didn't do himself in this one and they were the two times he rolls down stairs.

Even tho he's in fantastic shape for his age he's spoken about having neck surgery while filming the Matrix and a spinal injury 10 years before that so yeah I'd decline stair stunts myself.

Im always impressed that Keanu Reeves decided to do a series about what he's capable of doing daily
and brought Halle Berry and Common along for the ride.
I feel like no one really gave Common the respect he deserves for his role as John Wick’s nemesis; one of the few characters to actually give John a good fight. Very underrated performance
hes my fave next to John. I love wholeheartedly that Common was the only hitmaker that could take on John and truly give him a run for his bounty.
He's also hotter than fried catfish😂
I loved that Common fought Keanu twice and gave him a run for his money: once in Street Kings and in JW 2

After the third one, I would say there needs to be a prequel somewhere in there.
The main reason John shoots Gianna is so that she can still have a Catholic burial. Gianna was a member/leader in the Camorra, the Italian Mafia, who are are generally Catholics to some degree. The Catholic church views suicide as a heinous sin worthy of damnation and a lot of traditionalist priests/churches will refuse to preform a Catholic burial/mass for someone who killed themselves. So by shooting her in the head, John made it so that she could at least have a proper burial.

It is way more keeping with the story and character development that John is simply being his clinical self and taking no chances. How many heroes have you seen get away because the bad guy walks away before the hero actually dies? Shit, it literally happened in the first John Wick.
The contrast between the sensitivity he shows just before she dies and the mechanical coldness of completing his task regardless is, I think, the point. He's not letting his emotions jeopardize the mission.

He didn't let the mute assassin live. He stabbed her in the same spot as common but he actually pulled the knife out then lootedbher body while she bled out. That's why she said "be seeing you John" and he said sure, it was a throwback to the first film when he kills vigo and kind of a saying amongst them I guess meaning they'll be seeing him in hell soon enough

Another interesting aspect of these movies is that all 3 movies take place a week apart between the first three. The timing is rather intense.
I like how you guys have the 3 tiers of excitement: girl on the left doesn’t say much and doesn’t really react to much, girl on the right generally has p standard reactions to things and talks a fair amount, and then the guy in the middle is like jumping up and down and yelling, “DID YOU SEE THAT?!” lol you guys contrast well.
From the energy I thought the guy was going to be annoying but he actually makes a lot of smart comments, especially compared to other reaction channels. keep it up.

I know Keanu Reeves did like 90% of his stunts for these movies. It's possible he did the driving stunts but I'm not positive. Keanu did not actually take the stair fall. Nor did he get hit by the cars, though he did say he'd do it. Absolute unit.

When I learned Keanu's own dog is in the movie, 2 & 3 and a little of 4 I loved him at that moment, especially that its a Blue Pittie and also that he believes in always rescuing them!!! Love Keanu!!!!
I've been waiting for this. Great stuff. Funny thing about your comment regarding Laurence Fishburne and the Matrix throwback. Obviously he played Morpheus in that movie, but as a fellow God of War fan, Morpheus is in Greek mythology as one of the sons of a God named Hypnos, which is the God of Sleep (think we get the word hypnosis/hypnotism from this). Anyway, Morpheus is essentially the God of Dreams in mythology, which is very apt for Fishburne's character in the Matrix since he literally offers Neo the pills to awaken to see the world how it is, or keep dreaming. Morpheus also appears in the God of War: Chains of Olympus as a main antagonist and puts the gods of mortals in sleep/dreams when Helios (the sun god) falls. Although, you never get to fight him in the game best I can recall. Just figured you being a fan of both franchises would appreciate that fun fact. 😉 much love to all 3 of you! ❤

The trick with the collision of Wick's car at the beginning of the film Keanu performed personally, he once said in an interview for which the director naturally worried + Keanu in real life shoots well and quickly from pistols and rifles (look here on CZcams about this video)

Just to let you know, when Jon pulls the knife out of the female bodyguard's chest that was him killing her. He stabbed her exactly like how he stabbed Castiel. He said then that if the knife is pulled out than Castiel would die. So basically he killed that girl.

I like the first one the most because it was just a huge surprise and I didn't expect this movie to be as great as it is, for me personally the club scene in the first is the best scene in all of them, the music, the lightning and everything just fits perfect and I was blown away when I watched it the first time!

Ash got somber, face flushed, and facial muscles collapsed upon hearing he wanted his sister dead. The body language is congruent with someone saddened then horrified at the thought of his sister being threatened much less hurt. Very human, very manly, and very honorable.
He gave Casian a chance, but because she was cocky and always disrespected him (including sexually harassing him); he pulled the blade out so that she’d die. She was already dead, but not yet unconscious. It’s also a throw back to the first movie of what Vigo told him “be seeing you”. It’s a reference to “I’ll be seeing you in Hell.” It’s something you can’t escape, they all believe there’s no redemption, and there’s no time in eternity; “Be seeing you.”
The John Wick arc should stop at 5 films, so there will be a sequence of falling action and a satisfying end that mirrors the sequence of satisfying start and rising action. Both sequences would extend to/from and pivot about Parabellum, the third and middle film, which perfectly sets up precisely what I suggest should happen (especially if the resolution involves a resolution of the conflict with the High Table).
Another classic from Keanu is "Constantine"..it's on Netflix at the minute.

john wick actually shows the other assassins respect by actually sparing their lives, which i think will come in handy in the conclusion of the series. John is only after certain targets, others are just in the way, just doing their job, as he self used to do or be. He acnowledge that. Smart if i may say so. Just like he spared that bouncer in the first movie, he actually have sort of moral code, just dont get in the way. But if you are somewhat on par with him and he knows they are just doing their job, he spares them, because of the respect he has for this type of craft.
He didn’t spare the girl tho. He stabbed her in the heart and then pulled the blade out. He did not show her the same respect as he did towards Common’s character.
he doesn't do the stunts where hes falling from heights or rolling down stairs but he does the ones on motorbikes, on horses, and in cars to a certain extent. he does all of his fights, but the stunts are limited.
I love how they're always putting Hash down his fantasy land. Making sure he understands he's not Mr. Wick. Poor man...

So part of the beef between them is that she was on his watch, and it was his job to protect the sister. Because she was killed while he was her body guard, it looks unprofessional and if he doesn’t avenge her, it looks like he was in on it. They’re both the highest level of professionals within “the trade”. They both know each other well, even each other’s drinks, but they still are complete professionals and extend each other the courtesy. It’s a very intricate world that somehow has structure, or you’re gone.

Like Terminator and Terminator 2... I don't pick between John Wick and John Wick 2, because the films are both amazing, but in different ways. John Wick, like Terminator, is tightly focused, and does everything it sets out to do ... basically perfectly. JW2, like T2, cranks up the action, and the world-building, but aren't quite as tightly focused as a result. All great, but different enough I won't pick one over the others,
However, John Wick 3, unlike Terminator 3, is still amazing, where Terminator 3 fell off *sharply* from T2. And John Wick 4 is coming soon, and Donnie Yen's going to be in it, and I am *SO* hyped for that

The guy you were saying is from lost, is also the guy that played the devil in Keanu's other movie CONSTANTINE. Keanu uses other actors that have been in other movies with him, like Joss Whedon and the Whedonverse. They look out for each other.
The doc that stitched him up is the Key maker from Matrix 2.
Of course there is Lawrence who played the legendary Morpheus from the Matrix. The man that threw John over the second floor of the club railing was an Agent in the second Matrix film.
He reuses talent and staff and gives them the hook up.

There is a shopping mall about 6 km away from where I live called the West Edmonton Mall , in this mall there is a gun range where I can go and shoot all sorts of different guns then go out do some shopping watch a movie and have a meal on Bourbon Street all indoors and out of the elements.
