Fight against Arianrhod.
Nightmare with added challenge :
- Not using Tio
- Not using x7 Bells (which allows the player to play again after using Arts)
- Not using S-Craft in order to steal buff or do more damage on crit.
- Not using Evasion Tank (which sucks btw. Every guys who used this strat' are pussies)
And I think that's pretty much all. I think I'll do another turn by beating her with only physicial dmg as I did on my previous run in hard mode.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed this looong fight. I did many mistakes, but it ended well so I guess it's ok :)

Is it even possible to beat her without evasion tanks or craft guards? I've never built a defense tank, but it may be possible to survive her S-crafts with one.
~35000 from s-craft tells me no. The only chance is to come on 150 lvl, the MAYBE buffed Lloyd or Randy will not die from single s-craft.
Nope I could still lose the FIGHT at lv 130 from her s craft on EASY MODE NG+ runs only.

Why did Arianrhod sound different here? I watched the other videos, and she sounded calm. But here, she sounded angry when she introduced herself.
Ao no Kiseki has 2 different voices possible, original and EVO.
Wow. Physical damage actually viable against her? I thought her P.DEF was so high (around 3100 when helmet comes off on normal, not nightmare), that Randy would be useless against her. What are Randy's stats and gear? The fact that he was actually doing more than 200 damage with a normal physical attack against her is impressive.
Any tips for making physical attacks viable against her on nightmare? I'm planning to do this battle on my playthrough with a mix of physical attackers and art casters, rather than the old boring strategy of spamming arts until she goes down.
Well, I no longer remember everything as it's been ages. But I had equipped Randy with the Item which boosts physical attacks a lot (+100). I think the accessory was "Passionate Rouge", x2
@@Eifi_7 Makes sense, since that was a thing back in Zero as well. Pretty much the equivalent of Tiger Heart acessory from Sky (Sora), but better.
Guess I will try to put those on Lloyd instead, and see if I can't hurt her for at least 1000 or close enough damage with his S-craft in the future, want to finish her off with a bang.
if youre still curious, i took lloyds master quartz that he gets at the beginning of the game and put it on randy, he was doing decent damage but after the helmet comes off, he was doing just under 1k damage. not good, but every chips helped with this boss. i did the strategy of cornering her with lloyd, but i also gave him adamantine guard to give him something to do while hes acting as the meatshield. i kept buffing randys str up whenever i got the chance, as well as raising tio and elies ats and spamming her with arts. when i got very desperate, i would spam burst orbs so that i would get my burst, and in that time i would do anything i needed to quickly, like moving tio and elie away from her if she got close to them, as well as letting out the huge damage arts while elie and tio where buffed. i just finished the fight now and i honestly cannot believe i even managed it, i was stressing the entire time after i finished it waiting to get in control so that i could save as quickly as possible lol
i wish they would have kept the combat and arts from the crossbell games into later arks was just so much more fun and complex vs breaking enemies and facerolling them not to mention mastering master quartz added a whole new dimension of complexity it really was the best and most refined of all the games imo
I love this fight with stipulations since some things kind of trivialize it. Good stuff.

Fin0fLenster if you search for “arhianrod no guard no evasion” you get a randy solo. It’s possible to survive her cp by counting her cp (so you know when her s craft will come) and using rune of kindness (water master art) which halves damage.

what do you expect, it is an older jrpg with outdated mechanics. its just that the game was localised soo late, the official one at least. and NISA have the audacity the shut down the fan translated one, while exactly copying the fan translation
How in the world using EP charges is a "pussy" strategy ? That's just an item, and good spell cost a lot, you just want to lower the achievement the guy did. And why would you shame a strategy at all ??? The boss is meant to force you to use the most broken things you have, you aren't expected to win, the canon resultat is defeat.
Also for Cydzerlight, first, the mechanics aren't that outdated, secondly, NISA didn't shut down the fan translation and they didn't just copied the translation, they asked the Geofront team to do a partnership with them to help speed up the localisation, don't throw random false information like that.
I'd rather use evansion tank Lloyd instead of wasting so much time grinding and replaying the game lmao and you're still using the craft guard spell might as well use Tio since you're doing the same thing with extra steps, that's just dumb.
I did so without it in another video. I didn't grind at all though, i don't know why you're implying that :o - Just wanted to have a more challenging battle (cf. my other video on it, + like doing The 3rd Nightmare Arena with only 3 people), nothing else :)
