Wait till you understand how your soil actually breaths and how compaction really screws things up. Like too much compaction, no oxygen, no oxygen, no nitrogen from the air, no nitrogen, the your aerobic oxygen loving bacteria that fix atmospheric nitrogen into plant useable nitrogen can’t work. Basically no aeration, no free nitrogen. Nitrogen is one of the 3 big key nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) NPK
@@Badmitzmaruit worked with my cuban oregano. Cut off the damaged stem and stuck it in a glass of water for a week and changed out the water twice in total. It grew small roots and as soon as it got to like 2cm long, I dug a hole in the soil, and I planted it and it's growing nicely since.
@@Badmitzmaru disclaimer: I do know this doesn't work with all plants and with some plants it only works with the thicker stems, not with the thinner stems. And with others you don't leave it in water as the stem just gets soggy, and instead pick the thickest healthiest looking stem, take off all the big leaves and just leave like 3 or 4 at the top and just snip of the bottom of the stem diagonally, dig a hole in the soil(so you don't damage the stem), put the stem in, water and wait for leaves to start appearing. For a better chance of survival, I placed the plant pot indoors on my window sill. I noticed this method works better for thick coriander and thick mint stems. For better results I tried using rooting powder and although it grows roots just fine without it, I realised rooting powder helps it to show roots sooner and seems to help the roots grow longer faster.
@@Badmitzmaruthis is how many plants are propagated. It depends on the type of plant though. Not all can create roots from any part. But if you look up the specific plant + propagation you can learn how to grow babies from all your plants.
I'm going to try that with every variety of fruit I have access to. Some fruit is irradiated though to keep us from growing new plants just as many legumes and corn and other things are either genetically modified to be sterile so they can't grow anything from a seed or are irradiated so they don't spoil as quickly or have chemicals sprayed on them to prevent them from being used for anything but food. Think about how toxic that must be. It should be illegal for them to prevent us from using a bag of dry beans to grow a field of beans. They do that because they don't want us to have Independence but it could save many many people from malnutrition if everything that came naturally as a seed could be grown from the seed you can buy in the food section of the grocery store. Once in a while though some of the seeds Will Survive those processes and if you soaked a handful of dry pinto beans some of them might actually sprout. Sure wouldn't hurt to try everything you you eat that is actually a seed including quinoa, poppy seeds, millet and Raw peanuts.
Thanks for the cinnamon tips. I already support the stems with a stick and a string or florist tape. I also do that with droopy flowers to extend their life.
You can also cut a drinking straw lengthwise or for thicker stems u can use a rather rigid plastic tube and do as the drinking straw then warp it with piece of string or sticky tape
Sometimes string and a qtip are too much weight for a delicate stem. If you have some 3M medical tape, or cut off the sticky part of a bandaid? It works perfectly to protect the area and will easily unstick/stretch if needed. For extra support I use pipe cleaners or thin wire or even insulated wire made for plants. Affix it to a main area of the plant and then wrap it in a corkscrew pattern around the base of the stem- stretch out to desired length. Stem will rest on it until it can support itself.
Q-tip and string was extremely unhelpful, didn’t hold the stem up whatsoever and caused me to break a few leaves in the process. Currently holding it together just by tying it to other parts of the plant, hopefully it’ll survive that way
Hi. Next time, you might want to show us what kind of soil you use to plant those seeds. Do you use different types of soil for different stages of the plant? Thanks.
Please, can you tell me how to do this on a much larger scale? The stem hasn’t snapped/ broken the skin, it’s just bent over and it’s on a giant elephant ear plant that has leaves reaching about 10’ tall 😓... a qtip won’t cut it, and the leaf weight is concerning.
XD reminded me that I still didn’t put cinnamon around my elf because my friend told me to put cinnamon or something so she can get her powers back But like I don’t believe that now
My plants stem snaps
Me:-" breaks the whole thing off "
Rage
what?...
Won’t it still grow though
The plant won’t die
Nooo
This video gives me early 2000 vibes because of the sound effects
Yeah
The good is days…

yeah good old days, this guy is a plant whisperer
Nice change compared to copyright music or "motivational" music that people usually put in vids.
This man has made me see plants more like “living things” this is like treating a wound

Bro straight up a plant doctor 🙏🏾
😃 He "bandaged" it
PS: more tips in my official books! ❤️ grab a copy on my website: CreativeExplained.com
My guy literally dressed the broken arm of that plant 💀
This is one of the things that actually makes me cry when it happens! Who knew you could fix it!
'Wrap it until it makes it straight'
Asian parents: take notes! Take notes!
Thank you! My bf just partially broke the main stem of my tomato plant, right after we noticed the first tomato growing 😭
But now I can fix it
THANK YOU I CAN FINALLY SAVE MY SUNFLOWER 🌻
I just put the broken off part in water and hope it grows roots 😅
I know this text is old but does it actually work?

Love this video - you get straight to it without wasting time and your explanation and illustration is snappy and spot on! Thanks very much!!!
Okay, this is the second time I have paused these videos to go apply his advice. This guy is gold.
You just saved the day with the chamomile plant in my garden. I didn't have a q-tip so I used a small tree branch instead. Thanks!!
Whenever i see him all I remember “put grab cinnamon”
Yessss
You shall be known as “The Plant Whisperer” !
Holy cow that's great. I'm a notorious stem breaker when I get drizzled and try training too late
Used your tip on a seed from a fruit from Thailand, it sprouted 😃🤟

I just applied to my broken Jalapeno stem (which has a half dozen buds on it), just as you described - thanks for the tip and now will see how it goes
Did it work? And if so, how long did it take?
worked perfectly. I now cannot even see where it broke!@@catherineegboh4123
Literally one of the most useful videos I have ever seen
Thanks for the cinnamon tips. I already support the stems with a stick and a string or florist tape.
I also do that with droopy flowers to extend their life.
Well clear sellotape has served me well JS.
Great Tip 👍
Basically like a cast but if you out in the woods and used a stick to keep to keep you leg straight nice now we can heal plants your really smart
Love your videos. I would imagine your place smells like Cinnamon, coffee water, vinegar water and onion water
I know, right???!??! Also, citrus peels and coffee grounds!
IT WORKS, IT WOOOOOORKS. I didn't have cinnamon and it worked anyway. My squash plant is back on track, thanks! 🤘🏻
You can also cut a drinking straw lengthwise or for thicker stems u can use a rather rigid plastic tube and do as the drinking straw then warp it with piece of string or sticky tape
I just tried it, crossing my fingers it works!!! Thank you!!!
Did it work?
Amazing tip!! Thank you 🙏🏽
Thanks, you saved my life. I've been looking for a solution since 2019.
Wow!!! You come up with the DARNDEST things, and I thank you!😘😘😘😘😘❤️🥰👍🏻😃

I just taped mine up with scotch tape. Worked like a charm.
This guy officially became the plant whisperer in my book 📕
Great Man keep Going.♥️👌🦋🦋🦋🦋

I wrapped the broken part of my black sapote seedling with a few layers of electrical tape which I think will help the seedling.heal!
Usefull for specific Plants
I love your videos it helps out people
Idk why my grandma treat her plants like kids but I tell her these and she does it and it looks like nature
I usually just cut them off but your idea is much better.
Q-tip and string was extremely unhelpful, didn’t hold the stem up whatsoever and caused me to break a few leaves in the process.
Currently holding it together just by tying it to other parts of the plant, hopefully it’ll survive that way
Right on time. Now I just need some string and a qtip
🥺 dang man I ripped a few stems off, MUCH APPRECIATED VIDEO CHEERS
I never thought I would need this video until now
Wow your plants must've loved you so much
I like ur style and editing
This is freaking amazing, great video!
Hi. Next time, you might want to show us what kind of soil you use to plant those seeds. Do you use different types of soil for different stages of the plant? Thanks.
Hey creative explained can you please make a video on cleaning turmeric stains out of clothes / silicone/ watch bands etc! 😊 thanks
Plant doctor 😉 I like how he jumps 🙋♀️
This man is a surgeon
Did you just splint a plant? Holy shit man understands plant first aid better than I understand people first aid
Just spray some water and wrap a tight plastic on it. Some Mkp and Kno3 would help too
Thanks for this tip...btw,could this work with woody plants? Like dwarf trees.
Very helpful tip
Thank u i reallu needed that for my garden
Thank you for the tipp!! Its ganna help soo much.
I’m convinced this dude buys cinnamon buy the gallon. And his house probably smells amazing with all the beautiful greenery and cinnamon! 😃
It’s like a Band-Aid

Did it work for you?
@@smbazalo it did work
And sound effects i love
Use pieces of plastic straws with a cut in them to support the plant stem.
Not me getting the broken part back from the trash 😂
Amazing. Thanks a million

Just love this guy… too bad he’s taken!
I guess it depends on what kind of plant when determining how long it takes to seal but if there is a general estimate how long would it take to seal?
This is going to be so helpful
Thanks for the tip!
It works similarly to Casts used in Hospitals to fix broken bone fractures
that's a very different strain right there
Stem fixing, replant, transplant never works for me lol.
I cried 😢when I broke the stem on my Philodendron. His name is Phil. I was crying for hours til I located this video. I hope it works! ❤
