I just had an experience day at my local raptor centre and got introduced to their resident turkey vulture Ringo. Oh my goodness did I fall in love. He was amazing and be able to get so up close and personal with him really changed my view on his species. He may not have been the best looking bird in the sanctuary but boy was he my favourite. :-)
Great footage of such amazing fliers. 6' wing span, gliding on hot air columns searching for dead, decomposing animals...what's not to admire. I love watching them in the summer in groups of 8 to 10. Thanks
Beautiful bird. Very important species fur the environment, love turkey vultures, all species of vultures. They planet would not survive without wildlife.
No they eat decomposing bodies of animals which is good because you wouldn't want a random deceased animal in your area of living. 😋. Plus they are adorable.
I like turkey vultures. People often assume vultures are scary and all that, but turkey vultures are too adorkable looking for me to hate XD

I saw turkey vultures sometimes soaring in the air
Three amazing flawless landings. These birds are extremely skilled.
Schluupp! right vertical on the feet.
These are the trash collectors of nature. We're lucky they pick up so much road kill and eat it.
That's a smooth landing...
bald eagles? lol.
great footage.
So majestic.
I wonder why the other vulture didn't eat some of the fish?
Because the first one basically skeletonized it! Then raised his or her wing like, there ya go, have at it.
At the very end!!! The guys called the turkey vultures BALD EAGLES 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀
I once saw this up close, in person. It's pretty neat.

Nice, but there's no apostrophe in "vultures."

So they eat just about anything??
