A drop fade is such clean look. No barber in South Carolina even knows what that is.They always cut my sides way to high. So I just said screw it and started letting my hair grow out long. It been about five months now. I’m looking super shaggy.

it could be the cut, if you're hair wont fall into how you want it after blowdrying it, then the cut is at fault, products are just needed for a finish ad some texture

Sid I got one on my left cheek it’s badass, but sometimes hate people staring at it. Makes me uncomfortable I know it’s curiosity but not stare for too long geez.
What do I do with the stubble at the temples after they’re shaped with the detailer? It comes in half a day after and looks awful until it grows back and blends in....
CapnT feel you man. Not much you can do, try to keep it fresh by yourself following the line your barber made.
Get a foil shaver like he used, it won't cut anything longer than stubble. But tbh in my opinion keeping a natural hairline is the better option.
jamie beagley yea honestly my natural “temple-line” is very crisp and properly shaped anyways so next time I’ll just ask the barber not to touch that area. I once had a front hairline square-up and I shaved my forehead stubble for 10 years straight every day before I just said screw it and verrry awkwardly grew it back with a hair blotch on my forehead for 3 months.
The small gray attachment and a light hand would take out the dark spots in the fade
