I used to be drowning in my depression and anxiety. After a while I learned how to float. The problem is, all I've done for the past decade is float. I quit trying to swim to shore years ago. A girl I dated introduced me and played this over and over singing along. She carried a lot of pain and I’m sure this song spoke to her and the way it’s delivered here. She passed away a few days ago and I’m here reminiscing about her. I hope to never forget her or this song that she loved and shared with me.
