I’ve had the same problem with the globe on one of my 222’s, I learned if the base fits tight try a different globe they seem to be different thicknesses, that was after I put a new picket fence globe in one and came back a few days later to a crack like yours had, lesson learned!
I have an old Colman stove and the pump is dried out i think all i need is pump leather , i definitely have to get at it soon. Love your knowledge on the Coleman products , both you and Steve Winkleman are Coleman experts
Yes. I still see Coleman and other brands of GPA that I didn't know existed. Lots of great knowledge on the Facebook GPA groups where I learned most everything in this hobby from people with much more knowledge than I will ever have. I appreciate your comments. God bless.
So do you break down all the lanterns you buy ? I have a brown set of those myself. I know the stove has a leak when I try to pump it up so its going to have to be tore down.
Yes. It's automatic. I don't even think about it before there in the vise. All are completely torn down and cleaned and reassembled. On rare occasions, if I get a feeling from one, I may try to light it immediately, but it will still go to the vise and rebuilt whether it runs or not. Thanks for watching, and God bless.
I have one that I bought last fall. I had to strip the paint off the fount and repaint it. I was able to take the decal off and save it. What would you suggest to glue that decal back on? I was thinking contact cement. But it has to be just perfect for that. Any suggestions?
I would try a spray adhesive. Spray it lightly. I haven't tried this on a lantern, but I use it to apply patterns to wood burning when I use my scrollsaw.
Fine Looking Pair Shared Glad You Found A Globe For It Robert ! ATB Ter & Mel God Bless

Super clean. Cool little light. Is there a Coleman you don’t know about? You are probably one of the most knowledgeable people on Coleman products.

Where could a guy buy one of your vises?
Still looking for mine. You and Steve are neck and neck….
