Man, I wish these proper reggae shows were back again. Used to listen to David Rodigan every Saturdays on Capital Radio, 8-11pm. Wicked 3 hours. And those *Roots Rockers Competition Time* were like musical education to the uninitiated. Weird hearing Rodigan saying those Studio One tunes were just over 15 years old(!) at the time!! 1983 was the height of dancehall, every sound system were dropping Studio One. Wikidub, you're the ultimate *BOOM* for posting these up. Respect every time, for real!!

Trying to get hold some of the jingles if anyone has them, I'd be ever so grateful ? Things like " you're only a murdererer"and "version, excursion". 😂

You were blessed to have such music on mainstream radio we had to settle for pirate radio broadcast from Birmingham not as slick as this...... but great reggae nevertheless 123gogary
