How can you not show the full shootout?
You should show longer highlights than three minutes of highlights for those who not have cable or missed the pitch.
Seriously, better highlights of EPL matches. USA Soccer could put a little more effort into their official game highlights.
You can watch longer highlights video from other sites here on CZcams, for example try NBC Sports, but there are several others. It U.S. Soccer gets fewer views, maybe they will upload longer highlights videos.

Rodman had a good game despite her missing a pk with her assist on Sophia’s 2nd goal. She is still young and needs to gain confidence. Look at what missing in the WC did to Sophia Smith. Just have faith guys!

Fully agree. I'm an England fan/local, and our side, and Spain are flying right now. But objectively USA are in transition, bringing through a new generation and will be right back up there with players like Shaw, Smith, Rodman and Moultrie. If the new coach can complete the transition USWNT will be competing at the very top 100%
I totally agree! Rodman should have replaced Morgan much sooner in this game. Nothing against Morgan, but she is getting older and not contibuting as much as she used to.
If it Canada won because of that non foul penalty, the tournament would be renamed SheDecieves Cup

NBC Sports had a much better highlight video! The announcers are probably better, too, even though it's in Spanish and I don't understand it.
They should stop letting the cleaning crew edit these videos and hire someone who knows how to do it.
That penalty kick at the 85 minute mark was some bull crap.

Not really. She was nowhere near the ball and made a reckless challenge. Obviously, the Canadian player took full advantage of that.
Shouldn’t have even come down to penalties. The one Canada was awarded during the game shouldn’t have been.

not only was that not a foul if there was a VAR review the canadian player would've probably been given a red for intentionally flopping in the 18

This team is already better than what we saw under Vlatko. So sad to have all the talent we have and lost the mojo and swager of being the top team in the world but we look to be on the way to get it back. I pray.
The talent is there for the US it’s just harnessing the best we have and putting it into action. The Gold Cup, and She Believes gives us a good idea of what the starting 11 should be.
We stopped Japan but I'm not to sure if we can stop Spain or Sweden both are just so aggressive!
@NaomiSei Agree! I hope we can play against Spain before the Olympics. Their game is just so aggressive, fast paced, and they control so much ball possession. Not to add that their confidence is at the highest right now
This is this not the complete team. They are playing players and different combinations of players to see what works best. Things will be fine as long as they can stay healthy.
We still have work to do.... this team, the way they played in this tournament would lose to England, Spain, and struggle with other TOP tier teams (France, Germany) . The world has caught up and surpassed us.
I’m Canadian but that penalty was a bit ridiculous. All in all I think the usa should’ve won, they did better today, but i love watching these two teams play it’s always a show down. Also both of sophs goals were 10/10

@@Kyrelelyes, I ran cross country in high school. In a big meet, there’s some jostling and somehow not everyone goes down. Face it, she waited for the tiniest amount of contact and went down. Whatever, better team won in the end, even if I hate shootouts.

What Naeher did was phenomenal and I'm hoping she continues this in the Olympics.
But what Sophia Smith did was also spectacular. A brace and then converting her PK.
I would though like to see Smith, Shaw, and Swanson play more and perhaps start together. That first half was dismal.
Also, they need to hold onto leads FFS.
Alyssa Nair is my favourite American football player, she plays some real grid-iron football. I am glad she plays for our national football league.

Both final game videos get thubms down. How it is we see Rodman blocked and then the next shot it Canada shooting with a goal credited to the US? Goalie off the line? Something else? We don't know. The idiots didn't show it. Oh, wait. That rolled off because they didn't show the intermediate shots. Worse.

Start running and, at some point, get someone to tap your leading foot .. then look up at them from the ground and admit you don't understand how physics works
Exciting penalties but it never should have happened. I don’t know in what universe that was a penalty. Fire the ref and the VAR.
Dunn made a reckless challenge, and her foot was nowhere near the ball. Clear penalty. The Canadian player's reaction may have been a tad exaggerated, but it's all part of the game.
Naeher super awkward coming off her line again on the first goal. She was great in the shootout tho. Davidson wasnt great. Girma should always be in the 11 imo. Don’t hate trying to play out of the back but use Dunn. Fox,dahlkemper,davison was not enough. Solid strategy to move Horan back.

Look at the referee!
Not speaking to the other "fouls," but Crystal got what she deserved for tackling with the incorrect foot. Seen it hundreds of times over the years where defenders tackle with the front foot across their body in the box and concede a penalty. It will always look bad to an official in the run of play.
Offense is great but defense still needs work. The team is giving up really early goals.

It wasn't a penalty at all since there was hardly any contact between Chrystal Dunn and Adriana Leon. It's definitely a controversial penalty decision.

She had her stride broken from a tap on her leading foot ... so it's a penalty.
Probably one of the worst ever penalties called when they gave Canada that PK and I’ve been watching USWNT for over 25 years. There’s no possible way that ref stands by her decision seeing a replay.
The fouls were harder in the penalty shootout than in the one Canada was gifted in regular time.
Rodman should play CAM and Sophia Smith definitely on the winger moving forward. Also, Morgan needs to not be called up anymore.

@@NaomiSeiRelax, for one this is not the complete team and two a lot can happen to a team. Remember that team we had before the WC and what we sent. They are just working in players and seeing what works best. For example you will not see Alex starting when the games truly matter and she actually may not even be on the team.

Once again, Naeher had to come save the day. It should have never come to that. VAR was once again absent. And after a PK and a Swanson injury, only 4 minutes of stoppage was added. Ridiculous.
I see team Canada hasn't forgotten the 'throw yourself to the ground in the 18 to get a cheap PK' strategy that won them Olympic gold...

it was good to see Macario back on the bench and swanson had a huge impact on the game. Swanson needs to start once fit and morgan is really a waste of space now. Macario will complete this team with swanson, smith, horan, rodman and lavelle
