That red headed agent is a clever cookie. Nothing gets by her. I predict a good future for her.
The young lady from SA just saddened me , I totally get why she would want to leave, we made the decision to leave Cape Town 17 years ago and headed to New Zealand, never looked back and never regretted our decision. Hope all works out for her.❤️
I live in Cape Town, and we have hordes of people streaming down here. From the rest of the country, as well as the rest of Africa. We are splitting at the seams here, and get hardly any money from the national government, the ANC, as they steal all they can lay their hands on
NZ sucks! I moved with family and we hated it their so we moved back and things are going so well back in SA! I am glad it is working out for you though.
@@JoburgBoet It really does suck. 25% of Kiwis don't live there any more, 25% want to leave, and the other 50% are passive-aggressive weirdos. Why did you not like it?
@@preferanonymous Climate was the main reason. Struggling to make friends and the Saffas that we met were racist. Missing the culture the food and family.
@@JoburgBoet Yes! It's *impossible* to make good friendships there unless you grew up there! And the food? It's ... edible. But Kiwis think it's the best in the world. It's *nothing* compared to an American BBQ or SA braai. And I don't know if NZ even has a culture, to be honest. I think it's mainly just people getting together once in a while in *closed* groups, or people going out and getting blind drunk. And it's so difficult to have meaningful conversations because you can't say anything critical -- people will say "You're too negative!" Or if you mention something you don't like about NZ, they fall apart. But I think what pushed me over the edge, after five long years, is that people are so flakey. Like if you invite someone somewhere, they'll say yes, but then they'll "ghost" you. And when you show that you're even a LITTLE BIT upset by that, they gaslight you and tell you that you're insane.
The older I get the more I appreciate the fact that I won the "born in a first world" lottery. It is something I wake up every day and give thanks for.

Plus millions of illegal people from all the rest of Africa. Cape Town is bursting at the seams
Officer Lee seems to have genuine compassion. She knows she has a job to do but does it in the right way.
I watched a UK show once when the officer asked a man, "Are you under the impression that I have to believe you unless I can prove you're lying." The narrator is often buried under the music.

A minor travelling to a far away place alone will definitely get questioned. When I went to the UK at 19 for holiday, they asked me where my mum is. She's not far behind. It's the norm.

I visited the UK for the first time when I was 18 for a holiday and to study English for two weeks. I was so anxious. I guess the officers are smart enough and well-trained to identify the person of interest who would have the potential to overstay or commit crimes. I remember when I applied for the UK visa I was so worried and when I arrived at Heathrow Airport, I was so anxious, but the officers calmed me down and helped me to find my way. I haven't been questioned like those people. It was such a good experience. I decided to study again in the UK when I was 24 and I stayed 2 years between Sunderland and Newcastle. I have to say my experience was amazing! I've visited all cities and I enjoyed my stay and now almost 10 years I have lived in New Zealand. When I arrived in New Zealand I had £6000 and Immigration asked me if I had anything to declare, I answered very honestly and said this money in £ not NZD so I don't know if I should claim it. she calculated that it was more than NZD10,000 so she took me to another place where I sit and fill a form of where this money came from. I answered the questions and they allowed me to enter. It was such an easy-breezy straightforward process. I believe it is very important, to be honest, and don't play games because you'll be caught one day. I haven't seen anyone go away with his/her lies.
It definitely pays to be honest
How a person can spend ten thousands of Rands to get to a place and then just don't have ducks in a row, eish! There's more to this story...

Love Muffin I was born in Canada but I went to Kenya for four months. When I was returning back to Canada, I had a stop in San Francisco and the Americans treated me and my sister very stereotypically . It was almost amusing to see that the racism treated towards blacks & muslims was very true. But I remember they sent me and my sister towards the police side to be “further investigated” and they gave us a blank piece of paper and they asked us to write down, the address of what university we attended, adresses we’ve visited in Kenya, address in Canada, what major we have selected etc. It was a whole list of person questions the verbally asked us and made us write down. Then they asked us why we didn’t have a “somali passport”, and when we told them “we were born in Canada” they looked very disturbed by that comment.
I kept thinking that I shouldn’t give my school adresss besides home adress, but a lot of the wuestions seemed a bit invasive. I felt like they didn’t need to know all that info, why does it matter to them? I just went to Kenya to visit family, why did they need to know everything about my life in Canada ?
I kept thinking what if I just lied, would they be able to confirm it? And if I did... what could they possibly do? “Oh no she lied about what uni she went to”

Was 1 weekend in London they treated me so bad on the airport never will I go back there.
It’s sad that some people have to go through such extremes to get a better life.
@@pegthj 32:55 "There's one just gone 'round the back". Sorry, no one was called a subject at that time stamp. The definition of subject is, "a person or thing that is being discussed, described, or dealt with." I think the word, if used, was very accurate. It has no illegal connotation, it is a person being discussed or dealt with. I think UK immigration people are very polite compared to the people (dare I say subjects?) they are dealing with.
@@pegthj As a Ph.D you should understand this isn't my definition, it is the definition per Webster's dictionary. I guess when one become so educated, so smart, they can have their own definitions and own facts. I find it interesting that you complained about the officers talking down to people but you lead with your Ph.D credentials in order to put me down. Seems like you have a chip on your shoulder. Good day, Madam. I can't interact with someone who creates their own definition.
How many economic migrant do you have living in your house? Refugees yes. Illegal migranrs, no.

It's because they think grass is greener on the other side till they face the reality. Why should anybody feel sorry for the liars and cheaters.
St Paul, St John, St George, and St Ringo colleges! Of course they’re in one building, they’re a band!
....She is a liar and is disgracing South Africa...
Britain should include human rights to look for work. Seek employment. That should not be criminalize
It's hilarious when these folks come over from India and claim to have paper work saying they have 5 degrees from Oxford and expect to be believed.
Exactly how British came to India under disguise of trading "East India company" this is, may be Indian way of getting back.
@@caption1987 Getting back for what? For driving a taxi?
@@caption1987 oh really ...?
Well we’ve already built railways and we don’t need Indian style 85% corruption in our governance.
We also don’t appreciate your cyber reincarnation of the Thuggee who have stolen even more than you swallow in aid every year.
We never colonised you. We unified, protected and enriched India and left without much fuss when asked.
@@fredsmith6401 They have to justify a lot of failure and theft.
we should do same to uk citizens. no visa free for them
It is not nice to kick others when they are down,
And right now the UK has not been this poor since recent history
Legend says “I have come from the place where I live” 😂
1st CASE...i really appreciated the officer's understanding and efforts to help the lady.
28:03 I don't belive you,

Strangely she didn’t fall in love with him ❤️
No one will,

Unless he said bataskiliaaaah hapakala donut.. it would have changed

Work for a delivery service company (employee not delivery driver), it frustrates me how many people violate their visa conditions. Like there is no way you're going to school and working 80 hours a week.
Unless you're not really sleeping...
That's not necessarily true, I was in college full time and worked full time plus had to part time jobs one was weekend and one was overnight. You do what you have to do.
@@jackiegunter6001 Maybe, regardless, student visa only lets you work 20 hours a week
@@ScaredDonut my statement was directed to the statement of no way you're going to school and working 80 hrs a week. Not anything to do with Visa's at all, but thinks for sharing your view.
Or “sitting at home” for 80 hours a week
But here in the US everyone goes wild when immigration goes to ENFORCE laws...
Don't be a moron, go to JFK and check how many people get turned away right there just like in this video
God bless Trump
@howzit3000 Obama was known as "the Deporter in Chief."
Did you happen to see any children in cages in this video you dense clown.
We refuse entry at our borders just the same. I know that I use to work at Newark Airport.
moral of the story. never admit to anything
My daughter was an international student studied in the UK at one of the top Universities there. Thank god she never had any issues with immigration. She had all her ducks in a row.
Yeah coz your daughter attended classes honestly in her grads had transcripts in order and visas in place.. she was a law abiding citizen with the right set of documents. If you r honest why will the border agents refuse you..
@@travelwithsounak very true. Some of these travel are so disrespectful to these customs officers as well.
You all have forgotten your colonial past and brown nosing now.
