Brewers Distributing and Miller & Martin Holdings #4B Budweiser Street Stock Car. Car driven by Steve "Diesel" Miller. Spun out last lap of heat race forcing a 12 of 13 feature start. Car rolled 1.75 times during the feature. Car did not finish. We would like to thank the great first responders at the Peoria Speedway for getting Steve out of the car quickly and safely. Also, we would like to thank the great tow and push crew for all of their help getting us off the track after the few wrecks we had throughout the year. Thank you everyone who came out and watched us race. We look forward to seeing everyone next year and we would like to thank everyone for your support during the 2014 season. Guy in the white car couldn't keep it together. Totally understand being sceptical about passing him. Every time you got to the inside of him, he motioned like he'd run into you.

I'm not going to criticize you for the seat placement, steering wheel size, hand placement or anything other than please try to get a better seat (Kirkey Intermediate is a good one, Ultra Shield VS Halo is a great containment seat and the most comfortable seat I ever had). Everyone has their own style and setup. Mine was always laid back and away with a small steering wheel and drive one hand. My dad's was always up on the wheel, big steering wheel, and 2 hands. He couldn't drive mine and I couldn't drive his to save our lives but when we were in our own cars we were both consistent top 5 cars every week. So lay off this guy, he's doing something most don't get to.
I know everyone else has said the same thing but please buy a better set. You are going to get hurt using that 1970 seat. It needs to go up your entire back, buy leg, shoulder and head supports.
dude , i dont know what kinda a seat you have but that back breaker aint gonna cut it. you need a full containment seat not a baja seat. those half seats are dangerous.. and move up to the steering wheel closer.
When you flipped the car, and I mean THE SECOND you flipped, I heard the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme from my dad watching it in the other room. Timing could not have been better haha.

need a full containment seat and a hans device would not hurt. I know you have to start somewhere, but those at the tech should have never let you out on that track with what you had. break your neck, or your back. safety is always first. race on brother

@@DDS029 it actually meets and exceeds ANSI raitings and is used by drivers in the NASCAR Whalen modified series. Next time remember to stay quite and thought a fool rather than speak and remove all doubt

as stated in earlier post it was ya first year racing, we have all been there, funnily enough you actually look relaxed wich is good to a point, biggest thing I noticed is your steering wheel is too small and wayyyyyyy too far away from you, if your ever near a microsprint team... when there driver is in the car measure from there chest to the steering wheel. you will find the micro chassis are pretty spot on as far as ergonomics go

Glad he is ok. Rolls in some of these dirt pure stocks and street stocks are very dangerous due to ver minimal racing seat and safety like we have in a modified or latemodel. But glad he was ok. This is my biggest fear is rolling a car and havit yet in my 13 years racing dirt and asphalt since I was 8.
The seat is junk ! Where's the shoulder harness ???
He’s got a neck brace those shoulder harness are expensive most drivers don’t were them because there expensive

That's the most run down track ever and you need a new seat and to move closer to the wheel

Bad track conditions.... I was racing at Riverside International Raceway in West Memphis Arkansas one night and a big hole come up in the middle of turn 3 & 4. Because of the traffic, and always keeping it sideways in the turns, my rear tires hit the hole ( car sized hole) and it turned me to the right and I hit the 4th turn wall head on.... right where my girlfriend was standing watching the race. It happened so fast there was nothing I could do.

Seats have to be fitted for the driver this is a day and age when off the shelf doesn't work anymore as far as seats come into play full containment seats can be quite expensive but in the long run it's worth every penny spent

lotta wannabes trying to tell you what they think is wrong. gotta start somewhere. ruts almost as bad as putnamville. on a track like that, gotta stay high, fast way around by the cushion. don't letem bother you. you'll be fine
Only thing l saw that would really help is a bigger steering wheel. A bigger would help so you would have to fight the wheel as much. Otherwise keep racing and living the dream. Also for all the pros. telling you what to do pay no attention every track is deferent and everyone drives deferent. Nothing worse than a know it who watch a video and criticize someone else on there car and how they drive. Keep your head up and keep racing practice makes perfect .
It has been said already but really move the steering wheel and seat up and you don't have to have a custom seat but you at least need one that somewhat fits you and is a full seat it's sad that tech didn't stop I do t want to see you hurt for that

majorly in the way poor car control. and little hint loose some weight youll be much more comfortable in a car. Don't care if im a dick or not just saying,.,. move down a class or take a driving school holding up faster cars ect doesn't make you a racecar driver...
everyone looks different driving a car. some are wheel sawers, some are pretty minimal with their steering wheel. some guys don't use steering quickners (myself), some do. track is clearly rutty as fuck. alot harder than it lools.

Julian Belvill well that’s the reason he flipped, might not be a bad track but this night it wasn’t in great shape, he still raced good though

both of his hands were on the wheel when he rolled, and he was counter steering, that's why he was using both hands (lol) to turn to the right to try to not flip
I know a lot of drivers that use one hand, I was one, I had quicker reflexes with one hand then with both. It all depends on what you're comfortable with, and how your car handles. He wasn't doing bad with one hand in the heat race , it's not driving school. Lol
Tap dancing on the throttle don't get you anywhere
Street stock has to have throttle control and if you don’t you’ll. Spin out every time

As I was watching this, I couldn’t help but think how bad the driving was, then he just rolls. On his own. Also, that seating position/seat looks super unsafe.
Ive been racing for 30 yrs and never won a race when I was on my roof,is that part of tech rules? Must roll car over in turn 4 so we can inspect drive shaft containment straps😂😂 and for god sake get a full seat don't end up like my crippled ass brother he ran that style took a normal hit in the back end numb from the waist down gotta put a tube in pecker to piss I've got a few extra full body seats Il give you one that thing is no good

The guy was a Rookie. Dam guys do any of you race ? Yes could have been better but how the hell do you know until you get out there and try. Sir you look like a big man, Save up and try to get your a better seat. The steering wheel is your own like most like it alot closer. And bigger would help you. You were fighting the car looked like. You have to let her eat and at times let her go where she wants if you can coming off the corners. Good luck and you will get better. Hope it didn't tear your car up to bad.
