It’s been nice to not only see Bedard producing points early and at even strength, but against the toughest teams in the league too
Will Cuylle is playing great top 9 minutes for the Rangers this season!
Poitras has been phenomenal. If only Debrusk and Geekie could finish the opportunities Poitras has created for them.
Lmfao excuses. Bedard literally has no good teammates but has been a PPG player with a 50 goal pace. I remember bruins fans claiming Poitras was better 😂😂😂 delusional

If Poitras played with Freddie he’d probably have a couple more helpers at least
@@goldtigre4979 I agree, but you can't separate Freddy from Coyle. That coyle/freddy/jvr line is working too well.
Korchinski is on 2nd PP unit despite being clearly better at running the PP than Jones. If coach gets his head out of his ass and switches them Korchinski is going to start lighting it up.
I actually like Jones on the pp. Watching a lot of hockey, he is one of the best I see at keeping the puck in the zone and creating chances from the back end on the pp. Korchinski is incredible too, but I just like Jones there a little better right now

Is Pospisil not considered a rookie? 4p in 6g and dangerous almost everytime he´s on the ice
He's been incredible and contributes outside of points as well on only 11 minutes of ice time. Not sure how Grav missed him.
I'd argue he's been better than Zary, and that's not taking anything away from Zary but Pospisil is doing everything out there.
Pavel Mintyukov is just a beast! You feel the danger when he put his offense awarness at top level. Duck game plan should be "Find Mintyukov and give him the puck!"

Crazy how quickly he went from being an absolutely unhinged wrecking ball in his first game to just an absolute machine with Fantilli and Marchenko. Honestly one of my favorite players to watch this year and also that line is so refreshing to watch
how about Kaiser for Chicago too?

But he genuinely doesn't have to do anything other than show improvements over time. There's no expectations for him to truly hold his own right now. Give it to like the 40 game mark then we can check in again
Cuylle has been an absolute unit for the rangers this year he would have 3 more goals, but they were disallowed. At the very least 1 of them was absolutely a good goal and a botched call

B+ for Greig is criminal he was the Sens 2nd best forward when healthy better than Stutzle, Norris, Senko, Batherson, etc. the impact he has on the game is crazy
I was expecting A+, dude is super solid
He looks unreal but availability is a huge factor
Legit what I was thinking. He must not have been watching sens games that closely because he was probably our most consistent and reliable forward in all the games he played

He has 7 points in 9 games a B+ is an accurate ranking. It’s good but nothing mind blowing

And on top of that none of the people involved (Bowman etc.) are not even part of the organization so don’t know why you are mad at the Blackhawks and the fans instead of the actual people involved.

Had the pleasure of watching Faber live at the wild leafs game. Hadn't noticed him much on tv but seeing him play really caught my eye. Excellent reads and positioning all game, stable as can be and hadn't Reilly had an amazing game he would've been the best defenseman on the ice by a mile. If injury free this guy will have a long, impressive career to look back on in the end.
i think Leo has done well defensively, i dont recall a huge mistake he has made that resulted in a GA.
Luke Hughes has so much upside and he’s so young I don’t think you could ask for a better start to his rookie season. He will be a top 3 defenseman in the league
Leo should heat up a bit with the assists. Early season no one ever expected him to make insane passes and they ended up with a puck on their tape with no plan, you could see the freeze of oh 💩 he made that pass happen. When Zegras comes back that should help too
Bedard is amazing in Chaos Hawks team right now
Korchinski plays like maybe a minute of PP a game, Seth Jones plays on the top unit, though I bet most Hawks fans would love to see Korchinski on the top unit

The amount of chances he's created for Luke Kunin, Hoffman, and Zadina to just whiff on is astonishing. Could easilly be 18 - 23 Points area rn.

@@sobannazir8216 I know, he’s a fine player and I like him, but he just isn’t playing well enough for this list. That’s no big deal, this is a list of future elite talent, and Eklund has plenty of time to put himself on par with these guys

Yeah, not sheltered minutes in the games hes played. He has been rested a lot of gaems, and I think it makes sense, but indeed the games he plays are full on.

Every single rookie? I don't know all the rookies in the league, but I do know the Bruins. Your assessment of Poitras is fine, but what about Beecher? He's a 4th line center, but he's been filling that role very well and he's held it down all year so far with no reason to expect that he won't finish out the season (barring injury). If you're going to claim to rate all rookies, shouldn't he be getting a look? Or did you mean "all rookies who could win the Calder?" If that's the case, I won't argue about leaving Beecher off but I have to question at least half of the rookies you did include. (I'll forgive the omission of Lohrei since he started the year at Providence, only got called up due to injuries, and is back with Providence now. Even though I expect him to be a very good player in the future, I don't disagree with what the Bruins are doing with him. But I suspect that there are at least a few other NHL teams that would be very happy to have him in their lineup right now given the level that he's played at.)

@@SnapshotMC94 Tyler bertuzzi, nick ritchie played with them as well and couldn’t do $hit. Yes he is playing with them and his game compliments there’s which is true. Matthew Poitras has also played along with brad Marchand and David pasta so not much different I would say in terms of skill

Bedard is so overrated. His ceiling is not as high as far as point scoring as Jack Hughes and yet everyone called Jack a bust and Bedard crowned the next king. I'll be surprised if Bedard ever has a higher PPG than Hughes for the rest of his career. Not only does Jack score but he is a data darling due to takeaways and zone entry which he is top three in the league. It's too bad he gets hurt all the time.

I'd give bedard more benefit of the doubt but I don't think this is far off. Bedard may end up being a slightly better goal scorer but I don't think he will ever surpass Jack with hockey iq.
Bedard already has more goals in 15 games than Jack Hughes did his entire rookie year…. He’s the youngest player in the league and he’s leading his team in scoring. I don’t understand the overreaction style hate this kid gets, if he was 2 years into his career and never put up more than 40 points I’d get it, but he hasn’t even played half a season yet and people label him “overrated”. @@SnapshotMC94 He'll be top 5 for sure in 2 years, but I realistically do not think he'll surpass McDavid until he starts to decline around 32, 33 years old. Still have another 6/7 seasons with him being the best overall. But who knows Bedard is putting up points at an identical rate #97 did when he was a rookie so we'll have to wait and see..
