You can ask the guys from the fat freq stand... I heard them on the Saturday morning placed an order at the end of the day after comparing it to many iems (including the Dynaquattro).
Then I went back on Sunday and listened to them a bit more because I have to wait for my delivery to come through. I wanted to make sure my ears weren't deceiving me.
You have achieved a wonderful subbass and upper mids tuning. Really well done!
How much are they? I need to start saving up!

How are the size compared to the other minis scarlet and maestro?
@@scottpeterson2840 I found the size to be similar to the Aful explorer.... Thinner but a little longer then the minis... Very ergonomic and comfortable

Firstly, congrats on the 4K subs. Secondly, quite hyped with the FatFreq collab, and that red cable with that smoky caps on that looks really gorgeous, good luck, hope all goes well. Thirdly, stay hydrated on the heat! And finally, beautiful blue caps on the Explorer, hope to hear some more on the full review.
IMO one of the coolest looks of an IEM. Really goes well with the name

The shell with a night sky design is pretty. The cable looks good, but the storage case looks a little smaller.

What a perfect collaboration partnership! FatFreq and HBB. A little TMI but great unboxing. A lot of people say they are flat and boring, interested in your opinion.
The Explorer is one of my favorites. It will be too dark for many people, but it has a flatter tuning with low pinna and is really smooth. The accessories are really nice, and they are very small on comfy. Going through my own collection, the only sets I rank as better cost twice the price. I hope your heat wave breaks soon.
It’s a $120 set. Ordered mine when they released and I’m not disappointed. I love my explorers. The cable in that review version you got is different. The release versions cable has a different chin slider and 7pin connectors that look much nicer

This definitely is my preferred sound curve as I use it half the time on my hexas, one of the few eqs that I always go back to.
Tried this set, it's really good for the price. You'd think it'll be too dark but no, it's a great relaxing set which still has plenty of detail

People complain about HARMAN all the time - well AFUL has produced the EXPLORER as a great solution for an alternative sound. On top of that, they are beautiful with great accessories! Time to EXPLORE!!!

Did not know awful were high go own brand, never really looked at any awful products not one that had sets I was keen on, open to hear your thoughts on the explorer.
