Few things are better than a good high stakes fight between two powerful characters. Today we’re going to be talking about a crazy versus battle between Son Goku from the Dragon Ball franchise and the hero Superman from DC Comics. When Clark Kent takes his glasses off he becomes a nearly unstoppable force, but will Akira Toriyama’s most popular character win the match? Kal El is frequently compared to a god, but let’s not forget about advanced moves like Super Saiyan God and Ultra Instinct. In fact, it’s possible the scion of Krypton might actually lose this fight! He has some surprising weaknesses beyond Kryptonite and let’s not forget that he already lost when he fought Batman. If this fight were to take place beneath a red sun it would be over incredibly quickly, and the Man of Steel wouldn’t be the victor. Superman may be stronger, but is he faster? There are a ton of factors that go into such a match and we’ll talk about all of them!

Really it will come down to if goku can ever beat beerus. If Beerus was to ever fight another god of destruction it would result in the destruction of multiple universes according to the manga. Superman has no such feat, at most he could put a decent dent on one galaxy, but nothing even close to the universe, let alone two.

It's more easily noticable when he fights against jiren. The first time they fought his ssbkkx20 could barely touch jiren, later on a regular ssb goku was able to at least be relative to a jiren that was using a little bit more power.

Over the several decades of stories, Superman has beaten several deities and beings that are far stronger than Dragon Ball God of destruction tier. Beings that can alter the fabric of reality. Defeated multiversal, universe level entities. Shown to fight for days without a recharge. Pressed earth's weight without sunlight assisting him. He's preformed feats that heavily eclipse anyone in Dragon Ball. Son Goku has struggled beating a lot of opponents by himself, needing help from his friends, and losing stamina within several hours. Knowing nothing of comic Superman makes your statement somewhat laughable.

In the comic superman sleeps in the centre of the sun after flying to it to gain enought power to transform so as far as i know the problem is DC movies but the comics seem to use better logic not good but better
The main problem is consistency, if Goku had as many writers and didn’t have to stay consistent for a show or manga series he’d probably be too overpowered or immortal for everyone’s liking. Comic book heroes get beat by regular people in movies and other media but for 1 or 2 comics, sometimes a lot more depending on which “Earth”, they can do much more things that don’t apply to them in media or in certain adaptations.

The argument has been going on for years between Goku and Superman about who's stronger than one another. To me, both fighters are equally powerful and as strong as each other.

Goku doesn't use anything with magic and Goku would be reluctant to use Kryptonite anyway. Ultra Instincts speed wouldn't even phase superman since he's able to move several times faster than light too. Superman is stronger, faster, and a hell of a lot smarter than Goku

I'm not, actually. I grew up reading DC, and Marvel, while being a dragon ball fan. I watched z and super more times than I can count. Superman literally has done better feats. It's just how the writers do him. If you paid equal attention to both, you'd know that. I've seen Goku struggle with way less. I actually like Goku more, but not afraid to admit he's outmatched.

Strength is a strong word. Superman is not a FIGHTER he's a hero he will never be able to out fight goku in any battle. Anybody that can last ten seconds in a fight with beerus is definitely stronger than superman.
