Do you have the irradiance specs? Because as you know wavelength alone isn’t enough to call any red LED effective. It has to have the right irradiance and dose.

We tested the knock-offs you mentioned in your video and wanted to call out their significantly lower irradiance, as well as the fact that they are either 620nm or 630nm. Our scientist specifically designed this to include 660nm red light for optimal results. The science documentation should help clarify the microcurrent technology as well. ❤️

I don’t really know about the specs but I will tell you the solowave has changed my entire completely. My son went to college and i did not tell him anything about using this product but the VERY first thing he said the first time visit home was how amazing my skin looked and that my bags have never been so invisible. Penny you are so diplomatic and I love how you approach the science behind these products. I want to thank you For recommending the mito red panel. My husband and I both use it. we got it for each other for our anniversary. He uses it for muscle and joint pain. I am in awe that it has helped with his chronic fatigue. I use it almost daily for both my face and a foot injury and related hip and leg pain. It helps with pain and speeds healing. It's the only device I use for my face and I'm so impressed with the collagen production, the fine lines disappearing, pores looking tighter. It has really improved our quality of life. I never would have bought it if it weren't for you. You are the best! I'm so happy with my mito, think I could sell them lol

I understand the nebulyft will not cause fat loss in your face which is good for me and can use it daily. What is your recommendation or which do you prefer and why. Honestly the customer service is FANTASTIC! Im having issues with my device and they're sending me a new one, I hope the complimentary trial will still exist, cause at this point I'm unsure of it's quality (I'm a medical aesthetician and massage therapist) ... I really don't think the infrared light is strong enough, and I'm skeptical it has microcurrent at all... Definitely was a waste of money 💁🏽♀️

hi! great video!! thanks! Did you ever test the microcurrent on this device? I have a myolift, and wouldn't want to replace it, but I wonder if for travel this might not be a little something to bring along, *IF* it truly delivers the 300, which... I think they say 'up to', which is the first thing that always had me doubting... plus, right their on their specs I'm pretty sure it says 200.... ?(all so confusing). Also - thanks for encouraging them to be more specific about their specs ;-) With their new one they did give a bit more info about the red light including output power density, which is what you need to calculate dosing, etc - I hate when companies omit this crucial info!
Just found this video from your recent Ziip Halo video. I was wondering if I should get that given I already have this device. I do notice a nice firming effect after just a couple minutes each morning, using it with my facial mister for conductivity. But it sounds from your findings that it must just be benefiting me with lymphatic drainage in my face. I do enjoy using it and the look right after, but it seems for a more lasting and significant effect from microcurrent I need a different device. Thanks so much for this video and your others. Glad to find your channel.

But now I have a series of questions regarding what minimum requirements are needed when looking for a LED device. Add to the list of knock offs is trophy md. Luckily I got mine cheap through Ipsy, which anything I get through them I’m not super invested in. That being said, it’s pleasant to use, just glad I didn’t buy anywhere close to full price.

Very informative, have you heard of the Luce 4T LED Facial Therapy Wand? Its supposed to be the same as those devices but with 350uA i found it for $49 wonder if I should pull the trigger.. 😆

I ordered and received my Luce 4T LED Facial Therapy wand for a total of $51.70 and it packs 350uA & when I use it I notice strobe lights in my eyes. Too soon to see any results, but my forehead fine lines do look more relaxed.

Penny saves the day again. Thank you 🌸 Side note, if you do feel that “jumpiness” around your eye with microcurrent, is it best to lower until you don’t feel that anymore? Not sure if you can overwork that area and inhibit any benefit with the Myolyft being too high.
It’s pretty normal to feel a flutter around the eye-as long as it’s not “grabby” (technical term there lol). If it’s internal flutter and not a twitch it’s just fine. ♥️

Unfortunately the device I ordered to be able to test this isn't going to work 😔 The Solawave is only activated when it is touching the skin making it impossible for me to use the machine to test it.
I got the Hooga wand for a lot less money (and their specialty is selling red light therapy panels) it has similar functionalities and you can switch between red and blue light.
I’ve had the one by Trophy skin for quite awhile. I believe they were vegetarian first

Hi Pen, What do you think of the Mito panel? I have the medium size and have been using almost daily for 3 months and I really don't see any improvment in my skin. I did also just buy the travel sive. I have high hopes I guess.

Here’s the thing with LED….it’s not going to present any kind of drastic results.
What it is doing, however, is feeding your cells so that they are more energized. It’s also anti inflammatory. Those things often don’t necessarily show themselves but they are helpful in the health of our skin long term.
I’m not saying you’ll never see results but just know that a lot of the benefit is inside ♥️
