My New Favorite Sniper?? Custom HPA VSR10

- It took me a few months to gather the parts and build this thing. It is one my favorite airsoft builds. I finally got to field this custom hpa vsr 10 with a tank in the stock so you don't have to have an air line attached to it!

Connor, nice video. Like Matt, I have been out of the game for some time, but getting back into it. I have owned a few VSR 10's in my day. I just bought 3 new SSG's so that I can experiment with HPA builds. I will def build one with Wolverine Wraith and Storm reg, which I plan on mounting in the stock with a quick change cartridge system. I would love to see the build details on your HPA Tank build. How did you mounted the regulator, where is the pressure valve adjustment etc.... Do you have a video on the build or pictures that you are willing to share? Great Channel! I have been watching it for a few years now.

Awesome build dude, I love it! I’m def doing this to mine. Would you be able to make a vid of the disassembly to show each part or how you modded the stock? I’m still trying to figure out how you fit the regulator and adjust it inside the chassis🤔
Spend a few hours hollowing out the stock. Regulator had the gauge and connector removed. Ill make a video on it

I’m working on a build for this right now, my only issue is the regulator. I’m using a 9ci/3000 tank and going to install a wolverine bolt m soon. I saw you mentioned in another comment you removed the dial off the reg, what reg did you use though? I think I have about 2.5 inches of clearance for a reg in the stock.
Edit: I got a storm cat. 5 reg yesterday. Tried the hpa gun during some games and for those interested I got about 150 shots on 160 psi before needing to refill. Currently I’m trying different setups to see what will fit where. My idea right now is to remove the gauge on the regulator and put an elbow fitting where the qd is, so there’s less space taken up by the reg.

@@spencerbuckwalter4748 yes, it’s not a lot but the field I play at the games only last at most 45 mins, and I usually don’t take that many shots during it. However due to the 9ci tank being so small I can fit another in a m4 mag pouch on my chest rig without issue.

You just have to put a small spring in between the hpa engine and the cylinder head. Blind sniper has a video on it
I bought something similar to the wraith for under $35, it works great and don’t have to pay crazy wolverine prices

Searched an hour for this to see the part where I found and killed you lol I'm the guy at 2:55 you shot. Regardless hunting for you and knowing you had eyes on me the whole time just not wanting to reveal your postion was one of my best airsoft experiences.
awesome build bro! any chance you mind sharing what size tank you used for this? iv got an idea of how to fit and secure it to the stock but cant find anything smaller than a 13ci which is to long by my measurments?
I used a 9ci tank, they dont make them anymore. Hard to find

@@airsoftconnor thats awesome! I am building the following setup: Crazy jet inner barrel 550 mm, AA hop up chamber, ML mr. Hop 70 degrees bucking, tridos pro tdc, wolverine bolt, wolverine regulator, straight pull. I would like to address few questions:
1. What type of ML bucking are you using?
2. What barrel size and barrel type are you using?
3. At how many PSI are you running the setup? I'm currently running it at 180-190 psi and get 3J with 0.45 bbs but with CO2 adapter on 12g cartridges and I'm not so happy with the consistency.
4. What is the spring mod? Is it used for the bolt?
@@gheorghechereji2714 1. Autobot 2021 2. Changed my barrel to a Action army 430mm 6.01 3. Around 160 4. Spring mod is for bolt return. All you have to do is let it go after you pull it back.
how bad is the weight can you get a carbon tank that size to make it more light?
It balances very well! I dont think they make it that small

You want to go AEG first, as most people would I recommend any Specna Arms Edge series gun or Cyma Platinum series gun, dont ever go with a sniper as your first gun though
@@vektorr4 I did get a sniper as my first gun and it is the best decision i made. The only reason why an AEG is better for beginners is, because they are more versatile and you don't need a sidearm for close quarter combat.

the best barrel for a vsr10 HPA is the PDI in 6.08 associated with an R-Hop in the AAC hopup block;) try, you will rediscover your sniper with much better range and precision than with the Maple leaf barrel;)
I'm modifying my VSR10 to have the HPA bottle in the butt too and I have my little homemade semi-automatic rearming system too;)
Where a head band under your hat and goggles will fog way way less if at all
My exfog just died!
Oh dang oops. But for real try it out I have long hair atm and run a band and hat but went with band and kept fogging then it dawned on me.
