- Sorry for the lack of content during the past few weeks, I was ill and took a while to recover. Here's a short piano improv intro and highlight from the Twitch livestream on 1st March 2024.

Thank you so much for this. Sitting in my garden at the end of a beautiful Spring day watching the sun go down.
State Azure never disappoints!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Facts
Always fascinating to see the whole process and the backstage. Endless inspiration and gorgeous atmosphere.
glorious
Hmm...Berlin school vibes...my favorite...Thank you State Azure
This is so soothing! Thanks for the awesome music Pat!
This track, this track, this marvelous track: in five short days has become essential to my current work. From the gorgeous piano invitation & provocations (ever the Lighthouse), to the liminal-space transition with, gently, finally, its initial exploration of theme, to the bones of the groove, to the final 50-minute bounce with smiling wondering "what if's?" sprinkled in and out. Writing with this piece playing is a flow-dream. It is a problem solver, a can opener, a _sonic screwdriver_. If I am ever done with the current work, there will be somewhere in its front-matter a mention of State Azure, "without whom this could not have happened." I hope it's okay, but just had to do something concrete here in view of the larger world, separate from the Patreon. Thank you for your work. It's meaningful; connects, changes things. --R
Thanks so much!
Really emotional experience ! 😌👍✨
Yet another Gem! What a beauty. Thank you!
Going to listen to this in the dark. Nice one SA.
Very clean process! Outstanding look into how it's made :)
Absolutely sublime, pre release production it may be, but the central body of this work is just so hypnotically transient & heavenly. The run time is therapeutic, calming, and yeh I'm travelling somewhere thru the summer sun white fluffy clouds. Please release this as a long form track as above, don't shorten it I beg of you. Now joint number 1 in my SA top ten.
Regards Rob.
You're welcome to rip the audio to this stream if you want to :) I couldn't really release this as is as a longform track, most of it is without an arrangement and there's too many production interruptions etc, loud/unbalanced/messy parts. I'm sure it'll turn into a full track at some point though. I doubt it'll make it onto the 3rd May Alpha II release either, but I can try.
Thanks for your reply for me asking for it to be released as a long form track. I meant to say once it's finished somewhere in there, I got a bit mashed in my brain. No worries, I've got this to listen to for now, thanks again.
Regards Rob.
Glad you have recovered Pat and no apologies necessary. I'm loving producing ambient in Bitwig using the clip launcher - as always, thanks for the inspiration :-)
Hoping this release means you're feeling improved & recovered.
An admiring listener who appreciates the calm state of mind your work inspires.
Thanks so much & keep it up!
Much better! Thanks for listening!
Thats amazing, thank you.
Has a very similar sound/vibe to the Thomas Newman OST from the flick The Little Things... Awesome!!!!
Hey there I am sorry you had to endure all that but glad to see and hear you back doing awesome ambient work! These lovely piano notes are special in part due to the improv aspect of it. I usually play improvs myself on my ancient keyboards whenever I am able, but I must admit its a fair bit less HiFi than yours for sure 😄 🎹 🎶
Thank you :)
amazing track :) thank you very much
hey S.A., imo one masterpiece you made here! i especially love the bass around 54min.. (i think it was longer on the twitch live ...) great sounds everywhere .. really really excellent music ! congrats!

Hermoso!
Great to see you in flow!
Ohh! I forgot that Microtonic has cool Skins! Must look into that, but also, that fretless bass!!!Top job, as always, bud!
It's like you drift off to another reality. One far better than this place 😇🙏🏻
Изумительно
😎👍
Great work. Awesome list of gear. You're a passion ist. Maybe you can tell me what instrument is loaded in the first Kontakt7-Slot with this beauty ambient thing?
Thanks for sharing...
Sorry for the late reply, your comment had been auto-blocked for some reason. I think the first Kontakt layer includes Hemisphere by Fracture Sounds, almost certain and it's recorded into the Enso looper
@@stateazure thanks a lot. Great stuff made by fracture sounds
there are some seriously good talented people hear in this comment section...
look at their channels you'll find some incredible music....
now imagine if you/they collaborated in a 'youtube synth gods supergroup'
a man can dream lol......
👏🙏
I love your music, you inspire me as an artist. Next time you are under the weather try my special tea! It really works I haven't been sick since last year its called Pine Needle & Organic roasted dandelion with lemon and honey. Its antioxidants is very powerful and at first it dose taste bitter but you will get used to it after a while. I swear by this tea it is very good for your heath so try it and let me know what you think😃
Never apologize for taking personal time for illness rock star 😍😢🤓 We all need you to have a long and prolific career. 😁
Wish I could manage this. My tracks are recorded live but after attempts are done.
One take is one take. But one attempt is a different endeavor.
Props

You led me to Bitwig, and I've never regretted the choice. As usual following your lead is always a good decision. 😜🫡
Glad to hear it :)
