When I teach, I ensure to bring in as many stories and writings from as many cultures as I have time for. This is how we create diversity and tolerance in the classroom... CRT defenders will say that this now what CRT does, but every lesson and every teacher that I've ever seen or heard talk about it does exactly what I mentioned and ignores the growth and recent history or many different data points in their studies because it doesn't fit their narrative... They are their own people and I want them to have the right to have open minds and open hearts to this world and living their own lives.
