DeSantis has thanked Trump for his support, but what Trump wants is loyalty from everyone forever. I liked DeSantis' answer, I'm loyal to God, my family, and my country.

1) I have tremendous gratitude towards Trump for endorsing me. Without it I’d be a nobody.

Many down here love his reaction to the plague, the reason i moved here summer of 2020. He has shot himself in the foot a few times trying to answer every issue with some sort of government control albiet with good intentions. He also missed a great opportunity after the Bruen decision to remove the ridiculously unconstitutional red flag laws and open carry limitations while passing constitutional carry for concealed carry. His riot bill is a hot mess, he needs to balance police support with accountability. That said, he seems to respect the separation of powers at the federal level and the reason behind it.
