As an Ipoh citizen, the reason the waterfall is not so famous coz we tend to keep it to ourselves (sorry). waterfall areas can be too crowded at times. There are many waterfalls (famous and hidden ones) surrounding Ipoh and you guys are lucky to discover the less spoken one.
Have fun and travel safe.

Lots to see,eat and enjoy the slower pace of living here! Ipoh is surrounded by many beautiful limestone hills and greens! Have a great time at Cameron Highlands next in Pahang State! Bet,you both will love the cooler weather and the ambience there!
Hey David! Ipoh has a special place in our hearts, we loved our time there! There for sure is so much to do there and we loved the slower pace! The cooler weather was definitely needed after a month exploring the North West of Malaysia! 🇲🇾
Seldom youtuber taken top view shooting at Ipoh mountains. Well done! FYI, Malaysian also call Ipoh as 'mountain city'.
Ahh really? It’s a beautiful place, we loved our time there! ✨

Ahh thank you so much for the recommendation! Ipoh was absolutely amazing to visit! Unfortunately we have already left but we hope to visit again in the future!
Camron Highlands yeah good choice..if you are driving/biking up, be careful on the winding narrow road. Driver used to honking before taking corner to alert the opposite, but now lesser people do that.
We will for sure keep that in mind! Thanks for the tip. it's always great to find this kind of stuff out when travelling to a new place! 😀
Good for you guys, congratulations you found a hidden gem.... there's plenty of places like these that's not a lot of people knows about....
We hope to discover a few more before we leave Malaysia! 🙊
Cant wait you move to bali indonesia and jakarta
We can’t wait either! 😍😍😍
And malaysia was close with indonesia..happy holiday guys

the best places are hidden and out of sight!

After I settled down in Ipoh after I married a local Tamil girl. I bought a house 9 minutes from the Ñam Teong Temple.
Ahh that’s amazing! It must be a wonderful place to live! 🥰
You should definitely come to visit nepal
We actually spent 3 months in Nepal last year! We really hope that we can visit again soon! ✨
Cameron Higland It's a cold place, make sure you wear the right shoes when hiking because it's hilly and slippery
Thank you for this advice! ✨
The monkey at the temple is very chill because it is a Monk-ey
Hahaha!!!! Love this! 😂😂😂😂
Looks fab, guys! I wonder, though, would hiking boots be useful if you're going to challenge the hills in Cameron Highlands. I worry😅. I don't think Malaysia has much in terms of mountain rescue like they have in Scotland, for those going up Ben Nevis with trainers on their feet.
Hahah that’s so funny! 😂 we never thought of this, we used to travel with hiking boots but they got so smelly! 😂
Maybe we will try to find another solution if we plan on doing a lot of hiking! 😋
You would be surprised to know Malaysia has one of the finest mountain rescue services under the Fire and Rescue Services Department a k.a BOMBA. Every few days there are cases of people getting injured or facing breathing problems or simply getting lost up on the mountains. This same rescue services are also called to get snakes of various kind that appear inside houses/compounds as "uninvited guests" out.
Wow! We did not know / expect that! That’s amazing! Thank you for sharing! ✨🙏🏼✨
Jings! You're seasoned travellers, with your wits about you. May there never be a time that you are in need of a rescue service.
Thank you for that! 😋
Enjoy guys❤️❤️🫰

When in Cameron Highlands, different ball game. It has an ancient cloud forest.
1. Suggest to wear proper shoes not Crocs when hiking.
2. There are tigers in Cameron Highlands which is situated at the spine of peninsula. Please inform hostel that you are going hiking. If you do not get back, search and rescue can be mounted.
3. Many decades ago, famous trader from thailand Jim Thompson was never found. It was suspected he was a CIA agent.
Wow! Thank you so much for that! We really didn’t know this! Are there really tigers there? 🙊
What a crazy story, we will research this story for sure! ✨
@@SilkyRonTheRoad tigers were sighted near Cameron highlands. There were video proof. Gua musang and Cameron highlands are known to have such wild animals

My hometown!!!!
It's an amazing place! 😍
The secret is out!
Ooh I hope that it will stay less busy due to the location! We hope that only the “hardcore” travellers will visit! 🤞🏼
The most impressive thing is that you (the lady) went on the hike with a tote, crocs and in a sleeveless jumpsuit 😂. Malaysia is not quite Bali, one has to earn the sights and the 8 ringgit kampung adidas and a daypack are your best friends for jungle exploring 😝
We completely understand what you’re saying but we do absolutely everything in our crocs and with minimal gear. We don’t want to have to carry more shoes / things because we travel full-time and every little thing counts! 👌🏼
Hi! I'm curious about the cost of living in Malaysia such as accommodation, food, beverage, transportation and entrance fee etc.Have a nice trip and safe travels.😊
Hey! We are actually hoping to make a video about this soon but here is some rough info for now:
As a couple we usually manage to find places to stay for around 10 USD.
For local food with coffee, we usually spend around 5 USD per meal for 2 people.
Entrance fees tend to be a little higher depending on what it is and where you are but I would say to put aside 10 USD for entrance fees.
Public transport we really don't know so much about as we walk everywhere and hitchhike longer distances but from what we have heard it is pretty affordable.
Without entrance fees and also no public transport we usually spend around 17-20 USD per day as a couple.
Most people will tell you higher but we just want to share what is possible, we live on a smaller budget but if you want to do a lot of trips, take public transport, eat out in restaurants plus stay in nicer hotels you could maybe spend around 50 -100 USD per day.
We really hope that this helps and will for sure document our experience much more to share in the future!
Ate seratus duit mike sehari untuk due orang, bior betoi yeop. Lima ratus duit teman tu! Sehari! Ajenye ye... It’s so fun, we used to do this as kids and I guess having it in the middle of the street makes us wanna do it more! Rediscover our inner child! 😁
Sad to see the temple distorted the natural caves.
We do love to explore natural caves too but I guess that it’s beautiful in its own way🙏🏼
Who told you about that waterfall?
I actually found it whilst looking on the map around Kledang Hill! A great find! 😊
Can i know the mountain hiking that area is which part of ipoh please?
This was on Kledang Hill! 😊
@@SilkyRonTheRoad thank you !

Shhhh.... don't tell the whole world about the waterfall, maybe it would be gone in 30 years time
Ahh did you know about it before? What time of year is best to visit to get the most water? 🙊
@@SilkyRonTheRoad, November until January... when raining season start... but all waterfall in malaysia will become very dangerous at raining season... many people have die because of kepala air... kepala air is similar like a tsunami but in the river 😊
