My son was a proud member of the 82nd and is one of "those who have gone before." He'd be so proud of this group!
I'm sorry for your loss.
I also am very sorry for your loss.
I'm sorry for your loss.
I thank him for his service and the ultimate sacrifice and thank you for your's momma. I know he is smiling down.
❤️
I was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division from 1976 to 1981, proudest moments of my twenty year military career, always loved hearing the chorus perform
Thank you for your service.
Thank you for your service!
Thank you Sir for your service. My father was in 25 yrs also. Air Force Sgt.
Thank you for your service. My husband was ASA and he had a profound respect for the 82nd. God Bless
Thank you for your service🙏!!
I am a navy veteran. Watching this performance, I had tears falling down my face. They are incredible. I truly hope they win. Thank you so much for your service.
Was in the 82nd as a combat medic, then 101st Airborne and I love the airborne
The last scene of the guy kneeling while singing on one knee and the other guys blowing fresh air was a cool scene 😂😂 love the melodies!❤
Agree 😂😂
AGREED
Noah who built the Ark with his wife and three married sons (Ham, Japheth and Shem) and their wives would be proud that the descendants of these three sons are serving together.(Genesis 5, Mankind's Lineage, and Genesis 6 - 10 Yahweh/Jehovah/God telling Noah to dispatch sons to different areas of the earth to repopulate earth.

That got me some goose bumps, that Simba feeling in "The Lion King"
82nd AIRBORNE never does anything half-assed, and this performance is a perfect example.
too true
@miguelortiz5429 sir your profile picture is worth a golden buzzer salute 🫡
Go for it! Take it home! Hi from Salisbury NC
@@ramizacehaja3872 no, you are a circus
Great-assed performance
These young people are the best America has to offer. They already won before being on the show
Yes. This is what America should BE , not what had become.
I've watched this at least a couple 86 times, this is really good.
The moment he said ‘Hello everybody’ after the parade was awesome
These guys deserved a golden buzzer. Beautiful rendition!
Agreed! ❤⭐
Guys? There are women there also.
@@jt1364 yes!
@@jt1364you must be new to the world. Guy is a gender neutral word in some cases. So in this case guys is referring to them all
Agreed.
AGT has to keep the good ones for the Judge's Cut. Golden Buzzers go directly to the live shows.
AGT needs the good ones to draw viewers.
They are winners for sure.
The moment they started singing I couldn’t stop smiling ☺️
My husband was 82nd airborne out of NC as well. He lost his right leg to an RPG with his Lieutenant Ed Salau losing his left leg in Iraq in 2004 my husband retired April of 2005. Sgt Andrew "Butter" Butterworth is his name. We have three beautiful children. Thank you so very much for your service , sacrifices and I'm so sorry for your loss of your brother in arms.

My brother was in 82nd. He is still so very proud of his service, more than 40 yrs ago. He sitting here with a grin while we watched the performance. Well done 82nd!!!
Bet he didn't say glad I wish I was one of them
To the 82nd Airborne Division, I say: Thank you for your service.
I am writing this comment from the city of "Kabul, the fallen capital of Afghanistan":
Thank you to all the American soldiers (except for the few who committed war crimes in Afghanistan) and I am grateful for their years of sacrifice and selflessness for the freedom of the people of Afghanistan, like me, my wife and my two young daughters. Although all these efforts were lost in a strange and tragic way, we, who want the freedom of Afghanistan, will never forget the memory of the soldiers who lost their lives in this way. Although even writing this comment could have dangerous consequences for me, but in order to appreciate the awake conscience and sacrifice of these world heroes, I considered it obligatory to write this.
I think the real heroes are these soldiers, not Trump or Biden, Bush or Obama.
Dedicated to my dear friend "Colin James Black" from the US Army soldiers who tried hard to transfer us to America, but failed. Thank you bro!
You can never not listen to the oldies but goodies, they will always be there for everyone 😊
HOOAH to that performance! Former member of the military myself. Kentucky Army National Guard. God Bless this Chorus, and to the one that was lost! Gone, but never forgotten!
greetings from Indonesia
Greetings from Malaysia
Greetings from Vienna, Austria! I was in the US Army myself in the early 80s. I didn't know a single soldier who could sing like these folks lol! They are truly outstanding! I'm sorry for the loss they've suffered. This was a wonderful performance from beginning to end!
Thank you for your service. God bless.
HOOAH!
As a Proud Paratrooper of the 82nd and 173rd Airborne they nailed it and then some every time i hear the 82nd chorus it makes me proud to have worn the same patch
Thank you for your service sir
When did you serve?

Thank you for your service!
My uncle was 173rd Airborne in the Nam. That’s why I Sighed 25 th Infantry in 79. 11Bravo Ft Benning Harmony Church. Drive On!!
"My Girl" was a number one hit song in the US in 1964 - 65, recorded by the Temptations. The song was written by Smokey Robinson and Ronald White from the group the Miracles.
Wow you are smart
I retired from the 82nd Airborne Division Band in 2016, the Chorus has always been the staple for representation of the men and woman throughout the Division. Fun fact: The tradition and musicality of this group has always maintained TOP quality status even though its members change constantly throughout the decades. Members audition from various units throughout the entire Division. There is a lot of talent in the military that sometimes gets unnoticed due to their primary specialty skills. In 2015, the Chorus and the Band merged together for the first time in the Division's history. I was honored to be the first NCOIC for the Chorus after the merging, even though it was not needed. I never had to really lead them, they were self-sustaining and Professional. Super proud of the Chorus and I am pretty sure I see the 82nd Airborne Division CSM in the audience. (He is the one with the Division's logo on his flash).
Thank you for sharing that history. And, thank YOU.
How about the rest of the division that actually fights
@@darrelbonrud8101 respect to them, there are numerous jobs in the military. So you gonna hate the cooks and field crew? Can't fight on the empty stomach bro.
@@darrelbonrud8101 It takes more than infantry to win any war. The sergeant mentioned them, as a whole.
Best recruitment advert ever. Someone over there in recruitment needs to thank these guys. Since the numbers are tanking, there needs to be more stuff like this.
So true!
Recruitment is dropping because people are more aware that war is a sham for profit making corrupt leaders. There is nothing glamorous or heroic about fighting.
This is what I was thinking, whoever briefed this to the top brass knew what they were doing.
Why are their covers allowed indoors?
Y’all got no business making me tear up this early on a Friday! Love love love this!!!
It’s was so emotional 😂
I absolutely love this performance. Thank you for serving our country and sharing your voices .amazing choir
I had a family member with the 82nd in the 70s, I am sure if he was watching, he was proud of "his" Army. Way to go, everyone. Go Army!!
Way to go 82nd Airborne! Thank you for your service.
When I showed up to 82nd Repo Depot, I found out one of my buddies from AIT had auditioned and joined the 82nd Airborne Chorus. It’s amazing to see how much heart and dedication these Paratroopers put into every performance
I saw the title and thought it was gonna be the my girl cadence lol. "My girls got great big hips. Just like 2 battle ships..."
The three years I spent in the 82nd Airborne from 1972-1975 were the proudest of my entire life and I'm 72 now.
Thought I was watching the military version of sister act 😂 so so good! Thank you for your service.
The harmony, the unity,the respect.
God bless all the people in the force
They were so talented and sexy😂❤ i love it
I got chills when my Black sister started singing. Her voice is so powerful! 😍✨🫶🏾 what a beautiful performance.

The 82nd Airborne is in my home state and we are very proud of them. This made me happy.
Amazing! Way to go Airborne! I’m the proud momma & wife of 2 82nd Airborne veterans who both served at Fort Bragg, NC. I hope these guys go all the way! AATW! ❤️🇺🇸❤️

They’re so amazing I believe them
My son served with the 82nd (2/504th). I was with the 509th Airborne. An outstanding performance. Airborne All the Way! Great job all!
82nd Airborn: We are here to win!
Everybody: Ok, wow. Is that a threat or a promise!
This performance seems to have earned a golden buzzer.
SSG Gilbert was my drill sergeant 3 years ago at basic training! Small world! Hooah
I was in the 82ND from 83-86. My youngest son is there now. We’re going Ft. Liberty to see him next week. Can’t wait to go back to my home away from home. Love the 82ND Chorus!! AATW!!!!
Thanks to the Airborne singers and ALL!
Airborne!!! All the Way. I remember the 82nd Airborne Chorus from when I was in from '72-'76. I remember singing that cadence often during our daily 4 mile runs. Their act has just been getting better and better each year. Singing and practice is not the ONLY thing those highly trained soldiers do. Everyone of them is required to jump from airplanes on a regular basis, and they also have their regular jobs in the military.
Thank you for your service
Mr. Metaglypo, were you in Vietnam?

Thank you for posting this video early; so, that we can enjoy it before it airs. I really, really enjoyed their performance. 🙂 (Chase)
I wish if there is no war in the world and soldiers can sing and dance and enjoying their lives and support others people and rescues the planet
Former navy here. Only time I won’t hate on the army. Beautiful performance. Rest in peace to your fallen brother. Continue to carry the torch I pray for much success in and outside of your careers
Don't you love the rivalry though? 😉 I have to say, the Navy kicked the Army's butt in football games for a number of years. Then the Army cadets one year sported the 82nd Airborne emblems on their helmets, and turned the tide. The spirit of the Airborne Creed lives on. "My goal in peace and war is to succeed in any mission of the day or night, even though I may die doing so. For I belong to a proud and glorious team: The AIRBORNE, the ARMY, my Country - the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I am its chosen few, I volunteer to fight where others may not want to go or serve." ~ from the Airborne Creed
BTW, I went through amphibious training at Little Creek, Va., and got a couple of good stories out of that place. Quite an interesting and different culture in the Navy than in the Army. Also, after getting sternly lectured and warned about getting into fights with the Navy, our battalion commander, a LtCol, decked a drunk Navy Commander for insulting the 82nd. Never a dull moment......
@@metaglypto ah that’s airborne for you.I worked intel so my community was in the navy but still different from the navy
Former Army here. I enjoyed your comment. Rivalries are fun☺
Wow, the harmonies are insane! I love acapella music, this was so beautiful.
I was in the 3bn/505th 90-93. I remember during orientation they sang blood on the risers. They where and continue to be great. AIRBORNE!
Thank you for our services! God blessed you all ❤
My dad was a combat medic trained at Fort Bragg, enlisting in 1939. He was among the invasion forces in North Africa, then participating in the invasion of Sicily in Sept 1943 The then 82nd division under the command of Gen. Bradley, was also my father's assigned unit in Italy. Called 'Doc" by everyone, he got his honorary "AA" patch. I was also sent to the Med as part of a Carrier Battle Group in 1973 as a newly minted Ensign. I took the patch with me for good luck. Still have it today and will pass it to my son. Never forget, these folks are all volunteers, protecting all of us. Bravo Zulu!
Respecting them ...they should have the golden buzzer
