One is your children, the other is your career, and another is the impact you leave on other humans, and on that end he has left an impact on us in the ring whether he acknowledges it now or not

This is a man that went on to a late night talk show asking Bret hart what it takes to get a try out with wwe. Seeing how much he’s grown as a person and how he thinks about life now and still being happy that this is what he’s able to do and still having this same dream of wanting to continue what he’s doing while also wanting to make sure he’s doing the best for his kids and having different priorities now that he’s older is absolutely incredible to me!

He was great at knocking people out in the legitimate sport of boxing. He too deserves and is fitting of a great legacy. In this artform you have to possess legitimate athletic capabilities, and also have to have a good amount of acting ability. You have to have the stamina, strength, speed of a legitimate athlete, and also possess Charisma and an ability to portray emotions using your face and body that will make the audience feel whatever emotion you want them to feel. This artform exists, and it's called Professional Wrestling/Sports Entertainment. Hogan, Flair, Michaels, Austin, Rock, Hunter, Taker, Orton, Batista, Guerrero, Mysterio, Angle, Foley, Cena, Reigns, Charlotte, Trish, Lita...these are just some of the names who have excelled in their craft just like Muhammad Ali and Denzel Washington. They have been athletic, have had stamina, have had fortitude that allows them to put their bodies on the line, have shown physical endurance and a threshold for pain, and all the while they have shown an understanding for theatrics by making the audiences emotionally feel during their theatrical performances. Love Chris’ interviews and his knowledge of wrestling, but sometimes I wish he would do more of an Ariel Helwani approach. Ariel is annoying af, but he isn’t afraid to ask the questions everyone else is too afraid to ask. If it was Ariel, he would’ve straight up asked Adam “What would lead you to AEW even though the shows are dying and there’s no crowds?” And Edge would’ve said “I appreciate that question but I can’t answer that”
