It’s usually a scanned copy I guess

Hi, thanks! No, but you’ll need to take a copy of it along with the financial documents (i.e., most recent tax returns (2023) and w2s).
@@Marriedtothecultureplease I want to know what if my return is not yet processed? Do I bring a copy of my tax because my tax return is still not processed.
@@emefa8440 if it’s not processed, let them know and bring your most recent year that is processed. However, at the minimum bring that year’s w2s if you don’t yet have the tax returns or transcripts. But I suggest getting it completed as soon as possible to avoid pushback and hold up.

@Gabby Hoping to hear from anyone who got Documentarily Qualified as a Permanent Resident Filing for a child under 21yrs. I am still waiting for an interview after DQ'd in December 2022. Trying to get an idea when i will get interview from embassy in Ghana.
Hi, you got DQ around same time as us. With the I-130 processing times being about a year or so apart, I assume the scheduling of interview dates will be similar. But, I don’t know for sure. Maybe someone can chime in, if I hear anything I will let you know.

Thanks for all your videos so far, very educative, i want to know if its best for my husband who is USC to file for my daughter who is 23 years old as a step daughter instead of me with a green card. Which will be faster? Thanks
Hi, thank you! The USC filing will typically always be faster. However, in order for your husband to file as a stepparent, he must have married you before your daughter turned 18 yrs old. Also, because she is over the age of 21, she no longer falls under the immediate relative category but instead the family preference category. This means a visa will need to become available to your daughter (based upon the priority date once her case is filed) before applying for visa. Basically, this means it will take longer to get through the entire visa process. However, all that being said, if your husband qualifies to file, it will technically be “faster” through him but still the process will take some time because of her current age pushing her to the family preference category. Also, keep in mind, if you file for her as a LPR (green cardholder) she cannot be married and must remain unmarried until you complete the process.
I know it’s a lot to take in because this immigration thing has so many tidbits that have to be considered when getting answers to your questions. It can be so overwhelming! But, I hope this helps you a little. 💛

Hi, you can send any other communication you may have like text messages, chats, emails, letters, cards, money transfers, tuition (school fees) payments or any bill/support payments he’s made on your behalf, etc., Perhaps you can take screenshots of any video calls you’ve made together, print and send those as “photo” evidence. If he has you as a beneficiary on anything like 401k or life insurance policy that’s evidence. If he’s supporting you financially and emotionally at all, send that proof as it serves as evidence of an ongoing relationship send it.

Hi, for Ghana we didn’t schedule medical exams online. You can walk-in to either place, but make sure you go early, and have your exam. Or you can call the number to see if they can schedule an appointment for you.

No, I didn’t see anything saying it needed to be updated. You’ll just need to print the confirmation page with the barcode. But, your other documents like police certificate (if expired) and tax returns (you’ll need most recent) may need to be updated.
