The townhome is a great option. I purchased my first townhome brand new at 27 and still have it 19 years later. It has increased tremendously in value, and I am so glad I bought it at a young age.

Bro…your performance review analogy was on point and it’s definitely something I’ve struggled and sometimes still struggle with. The constant internal “review” or over analysis of every action or thing I do can be exhausting and frustrating…causing me to become stagnant in certain aspects of my life and not being able to fully enjoy it. Maintaining a “just do it” attitude (within reason…lol) has really helped me get out of my own way. Loving the content. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Mannn I've been looking at houses as well. I think looking at the real cost of home ownership (for you), vs apartments will help. It's all about planning and research, but could be a great step!

Are you an overachiever? Your comments shook me a bit because I relate to being overly self critical. Always seeking success and accomplishments and being perfect at everything. Once I climbed the corporate ladder and earned the top position of my field by 30... I felt hollow like something was wrong with me. I realized there was a lot of inner work I had to do. I was seeking some sort of validation outside of myself. Nothing was ever enough. Your videos make me question certain things about my own journey and for that I say Thank you.

I would be complaining monthly about that elevator not working and I’m a resident and I’m expected to pay my rent every month on time? That would piss me off too. I know down here in Houston where I live the only complaint I have is in regards to our valet trash. They pick and choose who to complain on about trash not being properly placed in a “trash bin” versus just putting it outside your door. I woke up to a warning notice on my door one morning because I didn’t put my trash in the bin for valet to pick up, I just sat it outside my door. Meanwhile there’s numerous other residents in my building who don’t break down their cardboard and have trash set out on none designated pickup days, etc. But who am I… 😂

If you consider buying a home/townhouse think of it like a future rental property. That way it can be an asset generating cash flow if you decide to move. I wouldn't in this market with rates being but it's something to consider down the line.
