Amongst the reasons he seems to have flyweight punching power is because he fights too much at a close range where he can't generate enough snap behind his punches. What is even the advantage of a long reach when you fight as if you have a short reach?!? And then there's the punches that are thrown outside a rhytm and momentum, which makes him look sloppy and clumsy at times when he could be more calculated and conserve his energy much better.

Dude is really good at selecting his fighters. Been boxing since I was 10 stopped when I turned 21. Jake won’t beat anyone that has more than 10 fights.
