For whatever reason, I thought Kellerman had fallen out of love with boxing and just covered the sport because it was his job ("Max On Boxing"). I still think he has the passion, now. He was prepared for this interview and witty.

But Bernard Hopkins became world champion and started fighting at 23* professionally with no amateur background. A journeyman. But I'm just stating idk how old Jake was when he started idk 23?... I haven't paid attention much but he is good for boxing. He gets fighters fights as well. He helped elevate women's boxing in a great way. But hey Disney owns ESPN now so it is what it is. 🦁🦁🦁
@@lionprophyet Hopkins did have quite a few amateur fights in prison. Jake is good for 3-4 years experience but a lot of others would be just as good if not better with the training camp he can buy himself
As long as he's putting in the work, he better be training with the best demons in the game, that's harder than just being a contender, that's literal champ champ status, certified martial artist. It's not impossible just extremely difficult, but everyone is equal in martial arts, let's see.

Tommy may be a better boxer, but Jake is hands down a superior fighter. Jake has fought much better competition, under the brightest of lights, and performed under pressure. He also has heart, cardio, and legitimate power. Tommy may be more skilled but he’s not a dog and Jake will outwork him and finish him in the later rounds.
Training, sparring and getting coached by world champions is not the same as fighting a world champion
