quick question about the thenar muscles. There are 3 of them, so is it normal for a hand to have a dent in the thenar area when you extend/flex the thumb? I believe its the very bottom one and middle one, a dent between the two? Not at rest, just only when you start extending/flexing the thumb or hand.

Is it really that bad if you can't even make a tight fist, or hold a pen/pencil to write? Is that considered carpal tunnel syndrome?
I know a patient with CTS
he cannot perform flexion and extension....of wrist
but he can be able to do all his daily living activities....so what is the best physical therapy treatment...???

what if you get tingling in one finger only? if the nerve splits into 3 after exiting the tunnel shouldn't every finger tingle?

Holy FUCK I thought I was having a heart attack when I would sit leaning with my elbows on my knees playing games but I guess that nerve is just inflamed all the way to the fuckin spinal cord or something. I know I have CPT bc I have been experiencing the symptoms, plus I did a couple of the tests in the video and bing bang boom my fingers went numb. Have slight swelling and irritation from just below the base of my left middle finger all the way to the fingertip. I'm also an assembly line operator so it stands to reason that after months of non ergonomic handling of parts and tools my median nerve is pretty irritated
