Succulent Shelf in the garden | Moving succulents next to our patio

I installed a metal shelf in the garden and I decided to move my plants again next to our patio. In the process some of my plants got exposed in too much heat for a couple of days and some suffered from severe sunburn.

Glad to see there's good yard space in the new home. Can't wait till the full set up is done. The aeoniums, especially the lilypads like to grow in indirect sunlight. Direct sun seems to sunburn them pretty easily during the summer while they are dormant. Maybe just keep them in the patio area where there's cover. 110f is so hot omg! Hope they all do good since you put up the shade cloth. 💚

Yeah, for now I move them inside the patio until I can fix their shade, 2 days ago we had some strong wind and the shade clothes fell down to my plants some broke. Uhhhhggg

@@PinayMorenaUSA aww... I'm so sorry to hear. That's some of the downsides of having a shade cloth up. You never know if winds and heavy rains will knock them down. I hope the plants that broke recover. Maybe have the hubby install the shade cloths on something more sturdy. Although I don't really know how to properly secure those things. I had the same problem last summer... 😕

Yes po sometimes po kc na e excite tau kapag gumaganda cla s place nila gusto nating ilipat kaya kapag sanay cla indoor then maii arrange natin s outdoor or masyadong maaraw na sa-sunburn po. Ganyan din po ang nagyayari sakin kahit po sa hindi cactus & succulent.

I don’t have fish hooks. Gorgeous it is the cactus flowers sist. Great that you have big space to organize your succulents . I have the same condition for my variegated string of pearls but I think they’re ok they’re just growing slowly
