    I just recently got an mp7 navy gen 2 its such a fun gun to shoot the only issues ive had is full auto can be a bit laggy as the stock lube is not the best but cleaning it out and relubbing fixes this issue. the paint on the rails seems to easily scratch off too but that might just be a me thing. other than these cons i dont regret buying it and have had no performance issues. I cant talk much about the accuracy as i cqb so its pretty accurate close range. another con is the mags as they are pretty pricey here in California. if possible i would love to see a full disassembly video of the mp7 as there arent much out there.

    Maybe do a comparison to another certain SMG you recently received? Since I think a lot of people wanting a gbb SMG will probably be thinking about this one, the TM one or the VMP1.

    Dude i love that made in taiwan sticker and the health and safety sticker you should defiently keep those on, really adds to the authenticity of the gun and doesnt make you look like a noob

  • @shovelchop81bikeralex52

    Had trouble with my 1st gen gbbr vfc mp7 for ages until I bought some replacement parts and discovered the factory had put the nozzle in backwards! LOL. Much better now, it's a pain in the neck to work on though.

      I'm glad there is a huge upgrade internally between the gen1 and gen2 mp7. So far, I'm enjoying it, and having the tm version as well, there are some surprising differences

  • @w01f777
    @w01f777 Před rokem +1

    As someone who’s owned both..
    The TM is more gas efficient, consistent and accurate out of the box. It likes full auto more than the VFC. However… the internals are a nightmare. They are prone to cracking the chassis at the pin holes, the bolt lock wears and they suffer from sleepy trigger after a lot of use.
    The gen 2 VFC is full size, a nicer finish and a harder, sharper kick. Range is better as it lifts heavier BB’s. I found it hops .40’s happily OOTB. It’s not quite as accurate, but more than good enough. It’s not quite as efficient, but good enough on semi. Full auto isn’t the best, but it’s a CQB gun, so you’ll probably never put it in auto anyway. They only really break on the rear plates on high power gas in hot weather, but you can get the replacements from VFC for about a tenner or upgraded aluminium ones from others.
    As a diehard tm mws and pistol fanatic, I would still say the gen 2 VFC is the better choice

      Thanks for the information 👍 I will definitely be looking into the rear stock latch from Crusader. I will also be doing a full comparison video with the TM mp7 once the review is out, as I want to give the vfc mp7 a proper review. 😀

    • @w01f777
      @w01f777 Před rokem

      @@rdeer2549 nothing is wrong with it. It’s just not as happy to do it as the TM. It’s a heavier/larger bolt, with a longer travel than the TM so it will always be slower by nature

    Looking forward to the MP7 comparison video. I want to buy one but I can't decide between VFC and TM.
    I'm leaning more towards TM but I'm afraid of the fragile internals. Could you please recommend which one to get?

    • @keilet
      @keilet Před 10 měsíci

      Depending on where you are the TM is going to be capped at 1J due to Japanese regulations. If you plan to compete on fields that don't require such low restrictions, you'll be spending more money to replace the restricting nozzle and likely have a hard time finding it.

    Thanks for the excellent reviews!
    Do you get any feeding issues with yours?
    My bolt works perfectly, but as soon as a mag is loaded the bolt stops short and the gun jams.
    It seems to be an issue with BBs not being pushed up and into the hop rubber.
    The gun's brand new and it happens on four different mags so I don't think it's an issue with the mags.
    I got mine from Bespoke as well.
    Much appreciated!

    • @MiddleAgeGameruk
      @MiddleAgeGameruk  Před 21 dnem +1

      Hi there, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your mp7. Two things to try first before contacting bispoke would be to just insert a few bbs to see if it's an overloaded mag issue. The second is to pull back on the bolt and see if the nozzle catches or rubs on the mag excessively. If so, then it's an alignment issue. A third and actually most likely is that the grub screw restrictor in the nozzle may not be screwed in enough. If you can see the silver screw at all showing at the bottom of the nozzle, then just ever so slightly tighten it with an hex key.

    • @MiddleAgeGameruk
      @MiddleAgeGameruk  Před 21 dnem +1

      The grub screw should be approximately 1 mm inside the nozzle from the lower lip of the nozzle, and looking up from under the bolt, you should not see it.

    • @earthsteward76
      @earthsteward76 Před 21 dnem

      Thanks very much, greatly appreciated 👍
      The mag only had 15 BBs in it, just for a test, so I don't think it's that.
      Having stripped it down though, it could be the grub screw because it was protruding at the top and bottom, and was barely screwed in.
      Not sure what to do if it's the alignment as well, because it does look like it catches slightly, but will play about with it and see what we can do.
      Thanks again! 👍

    • @MiddleAgeGameruk
      @MiddleAgeGameruk  Před 21 dnem +1

      No problem, the nossle geometry is so important to good feeding. If it is visible, then screwing it in is an easy fix. Just make sure not to go too far as it will fall inside and be a nightmare to get out.
