    Why are people overtaking like that,that is why there are so many accidents in Nigeria! A driver have to make sure he can see upfront clearly before overtaking ! God help us all! Most drivers don’t have driving license and no driving school experience! Meanwhile their is no symbol on when to overtake and the speed limits.these are the common things that can reduce 50- 70 accidents that occurs every day!

    Eboh dear, this lady you did your last video at.Main Market with , the video that attracted attention, she did a video recently abt Onitsha and the tittle she gave it didn't go down well with me, she was like ". Onitsha, the City of commercial blood money billionaire " . I don't actually know where she was coming from and i wud appreciate it if you cud find out for me. You know how other Nigerians try to water down the hard working nature of Ndigbo by calling them ritualists, and she is an igbo girl from Onitsha. Plz interface with her and find out why such title, thabks.

    With the eyes of a child, those steep drops of Milikin Hill cliffs were extremely petrifying.
    But recently driving through as an adult it did not seem as scary. Back then, those cliffs were littered with cars that were involved in accidents and those misfortunate enough to fall through the cliff. And those cars ultimately added to the scare factor

    The drive through you have just showed explains the very reason for the high vehicular accidents and the resulting deaths. The drivers are downright reckless and absolutely dangerous. It shows that pretty much many of them knows nothing about road rules, possibly they were not exposed to the standard driving rules that ought to be in any driver's license booklet which everyone seeking to drive ought to have gone through. Here it's seen that drivers overtake in bends and sharp corners, not minding that their could be another vehicle coming. This would most definitely makes for head on collisions, and in the attempt to swerve so as not to slam head-on, the driver overcompensate and him and possibly the other guy ends up in the deep drop into the valley. Absolute madness. Further, how come the state government, or whatever body that built the road never thought of having road divider, ideally the concrete types. This would have ensured some measures of control on very many errant drivers. Also, the embankments to the side of the hill ought to also have safety measures there such as a strong iron borders to serve as arrestors. These are intelligent thoughts that ought to have been implemented by either the state government or the federal, to hopefully save lives. I rest my case.

  • @glofaith3
    @glofaith3 Před 3 lety +2

    Absolutely nothing wrong with this beautiful mountain winding road that provide lots of scenic views.
    The danger here are the drivers.
    Since it's a two way lane and winding as is every mountainous roads, drivers shouldn't be overtaken one another especially at the curvatures. There are better spots for doing so.
    The curvatures are the most dangerous points to overtake vehicles since that's the most blind spot for both lanes.
    Another noted error of drivers are not staying on their lanes. The marked white line division is clearly there for a reason and for drivers to mind their lanes. Neglecting your lane puts oncoming motorists at danger of going over the rail and flipping over. Drivers should keep their own safety as well as others in mind at all times. Selfish driving is what causes majority of accidents at these kinds of roads.

    The problem with the road is that there are no signs telling people to slow down to say(25mph), there are are also no signs telling motorists that a sharp curve is up ahead. Add that to the impatient drivers, that is a recipe for accidents.
